Listen to advice.
Don’t let your dog loose in any place other than an off leash park.
And if they have poor recall, then that’s probably not a good idea either.
This is what happened a couple of weeks ago when I stepped out of my place, with Obi onto the footpath, only to have a loose dog come running at us the second he spotted Obi.
So, I copped being jumped on over and over again by the “my dog is friendly” in order to ensure that muscle loose dog is no where near Obi.
It was also only after a while that the irresponsible owner decided to run over to take his dog off me.
And luckily, his dog didn’t get angry or agitated because he would have taken chunks out of me as I kept Obi away from him.

That’s only some of the bruises. My lower body was full of scratches.

Keep your dog on a leash. Some dogs want to be left alone. And some owners walking their dogs also want to be left alone.
Respect space.
