nate team of animal lovers. We offer exceptional and compassionate service, well considered advice and a gold standard of care that is tailored to their (and your) needs. We as a team are committed to high quality Healthcare, Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. This means that it is very important for all our team members to participate in ongoing education and external courses to constantly update their skills. Our vets will often participate in continuing education seminars, conferences and courses to ensure we are delivering the most up to date standard of care. Our Nurses are also committed to their education by attending seminars and participating in training courses. All of our nurses are either Cert IV qualified or working towards their qualification, those that are qualified are also AVNAT Registered. We have a dedicated reception team who focuses on Customer Service and Satisfaction. They make sure that we maintain regular and close communication with our clients when their pets have recently undergone treatment so that the vets can better monitor their progress.

🩵Cosmo and Astro Boy🩵

These two handsome boys are Nurse Jodie’s babies. They both got desexed recently and are doing very well at home. Cosmo and Astro Boy came into the clinic as strays and Nurse Jodie fell in love and adopted them both!! 🐱

🧡Jimmy🧡

Handsome Jimmy is a 12 year old Pomeranian X who came into the clinic for his yearly dental clean and chest x- rays. He is unfortunately suffering from end stage heart failure and the main focus for now is to provide comfort for Jimmy and manage his symptoms for as long as possible. 🫀

🐝 Stung but Still Cute 🐝

Sweet Zuma is a 13 week old Labrador who was in recently with a suspected bee sting. That bee didn’t know who it was messing with. After a swollen face and a rough day, this pup is back to her adorable self!! 💪🏼💛

🐾 Guess the Breed!🐾

This breed of dog are intelligent, independent and energetic dogs with a lot of personality. They are one of the oldest known dog breeds used by African tribes for hunting, particularly for chasing games such as small mammals and birds. 🧠

🐝 Buzz Off!! 🐝

Bear came into the clinic with an obviously swollen paw. It was assumed that he had been stung by a bee and upon examination with Dr Kate a bee stinger had been found. The tiny bee stinger was removed and was sent home with steroids and given an antihistamine injection. 💉

Check out Bear’s swollen paw, a microscopic view of the bee stinger and how small it was! He is feeling much better and the swelling of his paw has completely gone down!! 😍

🌟 What an amazing day last weekend at Cumberland City Pet Fest! 🌟

We had a blast meeting all the lovely pets of our community and their humans. From feeding the sweetest goats 🐐 to giving out pet care tips and advice, our team loved every minute! Earlier in the week we showed you Greg the Kangal Shepherd Puppy… Now meet his big big brother Gordon! 🐶 Gordon is also a Kangal weighing in at 56kg! This brave boy put his best paw forward when he came in recently for a lump biopsy 🐾 His lump turned out to be an infected hair follicle and this gentle giant is now healing well! 💜

Sweet little Arya came in recently for her yearly dental scale & polish 🪥 Routine prophy dentals and X-rays are key to your pets health! ✨ They help us catch hidden issues early, ensuring your furry friend stays happy and healthy 😊 X-rays showed that Arya had some bone loss in her jaw and 3 teeth required extraction 🦷 She has now healed well after her procedure and is feeling great!
