Our vets will often participate in continuing education seminars, conferences and courses to ensure we are delivering the most up to date standard of care. Our Nurses are also committed to their education by attending seminars and participating in training courses. All of our nurses are either Cert IV qualified or working towards their qualification, those that are qualified are also AVNAT Registered. We have a dedicated reception team who focuses on Customer Service and Satisfaction. They make sure that we maintain regular and close communication with our clients when their pets have recently undergone treatment so that the vets can better monitor their progress.

Say hello to Stark! 🐾 He was in for a dental procedure recently and here he is having a walk around our backyard before his premedication.

You might notice his incredible two-toned eyes—one blue and one brown. This unique feature is called heterochromia, and it just adds to his charm! ✨

Fireworks can be exciting for us, but they can be terrifying for our furry friends!

Let’s make sure our pets feel safe and secure during the festivities!

🏠 Create a Safe Space
A cozy corner with comfy bedding and familiar toys can help them feel secure.

🔈 Block Out Noise
Turn on the TV or some calming music to drown out the fireworks.

🎾 Play & Distract
Keep them busy with their favourite toys or treats.

🤗 Stay Calm & Comfort
If your pet wants cuddles, go for it! Reassuring them won’t reinforce fear.

🏷 Update Microchip
They might run off if frightened. Make sure their details are current.

💊 Medication
Sometimes they need extra help—ask our vets if this is right for your pet.

☎️ Don’t Hesitate to Contact Us

🚨 Beware of Lily Toxicity 🚨

Did you know many common lily varieties are dangerously toxic to cats? 😿 Just a tiny nibble of a leaf or a lick of pollen can cause severe kidney damage.

Look for these warning signs:
• Excessive drooling or vomiting 🤢
• Lethargy, weakness 😴
• Vocalizing or unusual behavior 🗣️
• Disorientation, seizures, or collapse ❗

If you notice ANY of these, call us at 9631 9322 or contact your closest vet right away.

We’re here 7 days a week to help keep your furry family safe! 🏥💛

Keep your pets safe:
• Avoid bringing lilies into your home 🏡
• Don’t gift lilies to friends with cats 🎁🚫
• Consider cat-safe flowers like roses or orchids 🌹

Help us spread the word! Share this post to remind your friends and family that not all pretty flowers are pet-friendly. 🌸🐱

😍The World just got a little Cuter 😍

Welcome to the world, little one! Last week, mumma Ruby gave birth to this little boy. They are both doing well since and we can’t wait to see the little pup growing up. 🐶

Nurse Sammi was one of the nurses who assisted Ruby with the birth of her pup. She helped stimulate his breathing and circulation which encourages him to take its first breaths! 🩷

🌞 Keep Your Pets Cool in this Heat Wave! 🌞

As the temperatures rise, our furry friends feel the heat too! 🐾 Here are some quick tips to keep your pets safe and cool during the heatwave:

🔥 Provide plenty of fresh water: Keep bowls filled and easily accessible—hydration is key!
🔥 Avoid walking in the heat: Walk your dog early in the morning or late in the evening when it’s cooler.
🔥 Create shady spots: Ensure outdoor pets have a cool, shaded area to relax in.
🔥 Check footpath temperatures: Hot surfaces can burn paws—if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws!
🔥Keep indoor pets cool with fans, air conditioning and closing your curtains or blinds.

Keep an eye out for signs of heat stroke like excessive panting, drooling, or lethargy. If you’re concerned, don’t hesitate to give us a call 🧡
