As we approach the new year, it's important to ensure our furry friends feel safe and calm during the celebrations. Here are some tips to help:

❗️Firstly, make sure your contact details on their microchip are updated and add a secondary contact in case they escape.

⭐️Check that your house/yard is secure and escape-proof.

⭐️Close all windows and curtains to help muffle the noise.

⭐️Put on some music or TV to mask the sound of the fireworks.

⭐️Create quiet spaces where your pet can hide and feel safe.

⭐️Provide enrichment like food puzzles to keep them distracted.

⭐️Consider using pheromone sprays such as Feliway and Adaptil.

As temperatures rise, our furry friends are at risk for heat stroke, which can be life-threatening.

⚠️ What You Can Do To Help Prevent:

• Hydrate: Always provide fresh water.
• Keep Cool: Keep your dog in shade or an air-conditioned area.
• Keep Walks Short: Avoid walks during the hottest part of the day (usually 10 AM - 4 PM).
