🌟 A heartwarming story of compassion and care at Liverpool Veterinary Hospital 🌟

Nugget, this little furry friend, had a big lump on his foot, making it hard for him to run and play like he used to. His mum was so worried, but Dr. Suzanne stepped in and promised she would do everything she could to make him happy again.

Today, we’re proud to say that Nugget has made an amazing recovery! His mum tells us he’s running and playing like a puppy once more. 🐾💙

A huge thank you to Dr. Suzanne for the love and care she gives to each and every one of her patients. You truly make a difference!

🐾 Meet Chloe and her best furry friend, Lily! 🐾

Lily came to see the team at Liverpool Veterinary Hospital after limping for three years. Dr. Suzanne Farag examined Lilly and immediately suspected something was wrong with her hip. Our X-rays confirmed the issue, and Lily underwent a successful surgery performed by Dr. Suzanne Farag and Dr. Cam Nguyen.

We’re thrilled to share that Lilly is now doing amazing—walking and running happily! 🐶 It's so rewarding to see our hard work pay off and to witness our patients enjoying a better quality of life.

Thank you, Chloe, for trusting us with Lily's care!

🐾 At Liverpool Veterinary Hospital, we care deeply about every single detail when it comes to our furry patients. 💕 We know how challenging it can be for small pets to maintain their body warmth under anesthesia, and it's our job to pay meticulous attention to their needs.

Today, we had the pleasure of caring for Missy during her desexing procedure. To ensure she stayed warm, we used heaters, blankets, socks—anything that could help. We're happy to report that Missy made a wonderful recovery and was bright and comfortable when her parents picked her up. 🐶✨

Rest assured, your furry friends are in the best hands here. Care with compassion is our promise. 🏥❤️

🐾 **Why Desexing Your Pet is Crucial: Protecting Them from Pyometra** 🐾

Hey everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to talk about something incredibly important for all pet owners: desexing your furry friends. Not only does it help control the pet population, but it also has significant health benefits, particularly in preventing a life-threatening disease called pyometra.

**What is Pyometra?**
Pyometra is a severe infection of the uterus that can affect unspayed female pets. This condition can lead to severe illness and even death if not treated promptly. Symptoms can include lethargy, loss of appetite, increased drinking, and a pus-filled discharge. In many cases, emergency surgery is required to save the pet's life.

**Why Desexing Matters:**
1. **Prevents Pyometra:** By spaying your pet, you eliminate the risk of pyometra entirely.
2. **Reduces Cancer Risk:** Desexing also reduces the risk of breast cancer and eliminates the possibility of ovarian and uterine cancers.
3. **Behavioral Benefits:** Desexed pets are often less aggressive and less likely to roam, reducing the chances of accidents and injuries.
4. **Longer, Healthier Lives:** Overall, desexed pets tend to live longer, healthier lives.

For those in our community, the **Liverpool Veterinary Hospital** is a fantastic resource for all your pet's healthcare needs. Our expert team is ready to provide advice and perform desexing procedures with the utmost care.

If you love your pets ,please consider getting them desexed. It’s a small step that can make a huge difference in their quality of life and longevity. Talk to your vet today about the best time to desex your pet and protect them from diseases like pyometra.

Let's keep our furry friends happy and healthy! 🐶🐱💕

🐾 At Liverpool Veterinary Hospital, we care for every patient as if they are our only patient. Dr. Suzanne and the team are dedicated to paying attention at every step. When a patient needs extra care, we stop everything to provide the necessary attention.

Brachycephalic patients, in particular, require close monitoring during recovery. Recently, Dr. Suzanne and Nurse Courtney stayed by Bear's side until he made a fantastic recovery. Your pet's well-being is our top priority. 🐶❤️

🐾Heartwarming News from Our Clinic🐾
We’re overjoyed to share some incredible news from our veterinary clinic today! Dr. Suzanne, with her exceptional skill and love for animals, has performed a truly remarkable surgery on our beloved Molly. Molly, who’s been a cherished regular here, came to us with a troublesome eyelid lump that was causing her discomfort.

Thanks to Dr. Suzanne’s expertise and dedication, Molly underwent successful surgery to remove the lump, and we’re thrilled to report that she’s looking happier and more relieved than ever! Dr, Suzanne promised Molly’s mum that she would do everything possible to ensure the procedure left no visible scars, and true to her word, Molly is now sporting a new look without a trace of her previous discomfort.

☀️ Are you prepared for summer? ☀️

We’re expecting some really hot weather going into the weekend with temperatures expected to go up to 40’C!

You can help prevent heat stroke in your beloved pet by doing the following precautions:

☀️ Ensuring your pet has access to shade (preferably inside with a fan or aircon)
☀️ Access to fresh cool water
☀️ Minimising their exercise and avoiding surfaces that retain heat such as sand, concrete and asphalt.

Nothing better than seeing your patients improving ☺️.
Eating and drinking are the most important signs of being a healthy pet . It is always something going on when your pet is not eating or reduced appetite 😢.
It is a big hooray when patients start eating again after treatment🥳☺️.
Our furry friends can not explain what is wrong with them so please keep a close eye 👀.

❗️GRAPHIC CONTENT , SURGICAL PROCEDURE❗️

You definitely know the right and wrong food but Unfortunately!! Your doggy does not 😯….
Anything is edible… plastic, wood, rubber, metals, rocks, toys 🧸🪨🧦🧶🐶 anything you can imagine. We pretty much had all of these come in through out the years as a veterinary clinic.
We had this foreign body in our patient’s stomach, after we retrieved it. Mum said that is a rubber toy bought from the zoo that went missing 4 weeks ago !!!!!
Patient made a full recovery ☺️
Here at Liverpool Veterinary Hospital we look after everyone as our own.
Please keep an eye if your doggy has a habit of eating non edible stuff.
