We are currently seeking passionate, horse-loving people to join our full-time ground staff team based at Warwick Farm and become integral members of Litt Racing.
Working hours are 4.30am to 10am and then 2pm to 4.30pm 6 days per week, with two afternoons off per week and every second Sunday.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Daily care of our thoroughbred athletes
• Washing, swimming, grooming and rugging horses
• Loading and unloading horses from walkers and trucks
• Cleaning stables
• Attending barrier trials and race days
• Assisting our vets
• General stable and yard duties
The desirable attributes we look for in an applicant are:
• Experience within the thoroughbred racing industry is preferred but not essential. Litt Racing welcomes newcomers who are dedicated and willing to learn.
• Horse Safe certification and appropriate licensing (we can assist with this).
• It is critical that the successful applicant is reliable and punctual, and is able to work as part of an inclusive team and work independently.
