I am a proud pawrent to 2 beautiful dogs, 7.5 years old Elmo and 3.5 years old Abby (both Cavalier King Charles Spaniels) and bless my furbabies angels at the rainbow bridge - 17.5 year-old Biscuit (Jack Russell,

lier, � Aug 16) and. They are treated just like my kids and have the free roam of the whole house. Check out my Instagram (krisndoggies) on how my dogs and other doggy guests normally spend their day with us (and yes, I'm crazy over taking pictures of dogs so I'll be more than happy to send you regular photo updates). My husband works from home and I am always at home (currently on career break) so be rest assured your dog will be showered with lots of love and attention. I am able to bring them for walks at the nearby parks and also brush your dogs to ensure they always look their best. We live in a townhouse in Peakhurst with a spacious backyard (with a doggy door) and a decent front yard, both securedly fenced so you know your pets are free to run around safely. We also have a cosy sheltered terrace where the dogs can chill, lounge out and enjoy the view of the sky. There are two cosy kennels at the terrace if your dog prefer to be outdoor. We call our home your pet's Airbnb getaway equivalent. :)

Otherwise, all dogs are welcomed indoor where they will sleep in our guest room/lounge at night (further supervised by two security cameras). We have plenty of dog beds around the house although it will be good if you can bring along its own so that your dog will have some sense of familiarity in our house. If your dog is fun-loving, you can definitely rely on Elmo to provide non-stop entertainment and companionship to your dog. Because of the different dogs socialisation, please ensure your dogs' vaccination and flea/tick treatment are up-to-date for every pawrent's ease of mind. :)

Why our home?

- I pet mind full time which means your furbabies will be given close supervision as well as dedicated care and love during their stay with us. I am always there to ensure it is all fun play, and not rough play. (If time permits, I also teach free-of-charge basic obedience commands where necessary to ensure the furbabies are obediently behaving well together).

- We have regular daycare doggy friends so your own furbaby will have lots of company and fun with other dogs. This also allows your furbaby to be well socialised. To ensure a safe and calm environment, we take in mainly smaller-sized dogs (mostly under 12kg).

- Other than wonderful furry friends, we also have lots of stimulating toys including several Kong toys and balls of various sizes. And of course, Elmo's personal favourite, the Ifetch automatic ball machine.

- A large, secured yard for your furbabies to run around happily, play and relax under the sun. It will feel like a mini dog park. :)

- And a home away from home. Very often, we find ourselves sitting on the rug while the doggies took over our couch and chairs (and we don't mind at all). So, yes, we do spoil your dogs rotten.

- Convenience and flexibility : I work around your schedule to suit your pick up/drop off times to make it as stress-free as possible for you. A TYPICAL DAY WITH US

Morning;- Rise & Shine. Play time in the yard & house. Noon:- Afternoon nap. More play time in the yard & house/afternoon walk. Evening: Dinner time. Chilling at the lounge area/some indoor playtime. Night rest.

‼️Quick update on Elmo and our Daycare Opening Dates‼️ :- After much deliberation, we have decided to extend our daycare break as Elmo needs absolute strict rest for the first month after his surgery. We will need to be physically with him to keep a close supervision (he’s only allowed about 5 mins of activity per day). He’s getting more energetic by the day (which is a good sign) but that also means we need to keep a closer eye on him as he’s getting more creative in trying to escape his playpen (and it’s only week 2 now 😅😂).

We are so sorry for any inconvenience caused! 🥺 Boarding will go on as per normal as we only have 1-2 on some days during the break period which will be easier to manage (and separate from Elmo) vs having the whole daycare brood over. After what Elmo has been through ❤️‍🩹, we only want him to have the best outcome for his recovery. 🙏 Post recovery will take up to 3 months but the first month will be the strictest and most critical as his heart recovers from the major surgery. We thank you in advance for your kind understanding as we focus on our baby boy’s recovery during this period. 🙏

Meanwhile, Elmo sends his kisses and love to all his aunties, uncles and furriends who have been sending lots of love and well wishes during his recovery journey!! 🫶🏻❤️🩵❤️ Thank you for all the love!! 🥹🥹🥹

🎄 Holiday Closure Announcement 🎄

Dear pawrents,

In the spirit of the season, please be informed that our 🐶 daycare will be taking a short break during the Christmas holidays. 🌟

📆 Closure Dates:
23rd Saturday 2023 - 8th January 2024

Last day of daycare will be 22nd December, Friday and we will resume our daycare on 9th January 2024 (Tuesday). However, special daycare will be available on Christmas Day (limited availability - please let Aunty K know if you are keen).

During this time, we will be spending cherished moments with the cute furry ones staying with us while we recharge for the exciting year ahead. 🎅

Feel free to explore our feed and stories for festive inspiration until we’re back! 🎁

📢 Attention everyone! 🚀 We will be hitting the pause button on business for a few weeks now and then in the coming months. It's time for a break to recharge our energy levels and to catch up with our beloved family who lives overseas! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 🏡☺️ ✈️

Announcement: We are taking one day off on the 𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 (𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲). So, no daycare for that day. 🙏⁣
⁣
Apologies for the disruption of our daycare schedule as it is for Elmo’s medical appointment (and his cardiologist only works from Tuesday to Thursday, all daycare days😫). I didn’t get to accompany Elmo for his last cardiologist visit and given that his symptoms seemed to have progressed, I hope to be there in person this time. Thank you for your kind understanding in advance ❤️🙏⁣

For those who didn’t know, Elmo has the heart disease (mitral valve disease - MVD) 💔and he needs a heart check up every 4-6 months. 𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐰𝐢𝐩𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞. ⁣

Break Update: After a long 3 years due to the pandemic, our family from overseas will finally be flying into Sydney to visit us 😍🤩🥳 As such, we will be taking a break from 𝟏 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 (𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲) 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟐𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐 (𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲) to spend some very much overdue quality time with our family 🥹❤️ ⁣

For every dog before their photo shoot, I brushed and fluffed them, cleaned their eyes and even trimmed their eyes (where needed) to make sure they all look their very best for the photos! 🤩 ⁣

Money that is donated to Animal Welfare League NSW will go straight back to the animals in their care, providing them with the love, care and rehabilitation that they need before finding a new forever home. Your money will also go to helping their animals receive veterinary care if it is needed.

All of us raised a total of almost $1.4k 😱😍🙏🏻to Aussie Ark to support its mission to build a Koala Ark. 🐨 I would like to bring back the fundraiser this year again. Post-Op Day 3 Updates: We finally get to see our baby boy today 🥹 Elmo is out of the oxygen chamber after more than 48 hours. His previously severely enlarged heart is slowly reducing in size ❤️‍🩹🙏, his heart contractibility is showing that it’s getting stronger. Visits are kept short as he’s still under intensive care and his heart needs to remain as calm and stable as much as possible. Everyone is happy with his progress so far. And that means we are happy too 🙏❤️ Thank you to Dr Kanno and his medical team from Japan for giving him a better quality of life going forward. 🙏 Thank you to @vsos_vets wonderful team of dedicated staff who has been taking such great care of Elmo. 💖Last but not least, thank you as always to everyone who has been checking in on him daily. 🫶🏻🩷Elmo is so loved 🥰❤️
