Meet Sammy!
During a routine check we found Sammy had some tartar build up. His caring family decided to take advantage of our dental month offer and book him in for a dental procedure.
On the day of his procedure Sammy had a general anaesthesia, and we took x-rays of his mouth to ensure there weren't any underlying issues under the gumline. With x-rays looking clear we proceeded to clean his teeth with our ultrasonic scaler, and finish with a thorough polish. After a smooth recovery (and lots of cuddles and snacks) he was able to go home with his family that afternoon with clean teeth and fresh breath!

Meet Dotti 👋 We first met this sweet girl when a kind member of public called us concerned that they could hear a kitten crying underneath a car. Poor Dotti was pinned inside the wheel. Once rescued, we found she had sustained extensive injuries from the tip of her ear past her shoulder.
After surgery with Dr Jane to repair the open wounds, she stayed with us for 6 weeks to recover. Despite her painful injuries she spent most of her time with us purring and cuddling into anyone she could 😻
Needlessless to say, while we all pulled together to care for her, the whole team fell in love with her and along the way we named her Dotti.
Once she was fully recovered she was adopted by a beautiful client of ours who has now named her Suki. We are all so thrilled she has gone to the best family who love her just as much as we do ❤️

The gorgeous Mack came in this afternoon after his mummy found a mysterious open wound on his flank. Luckily for him, his mummy is Dr. Jess (currently on maternity leave) and she fixed him up under a general anaesthetic with the help of our wonderful nurse Alice. What a brave boy and we wish him a speedy recovery!! 🥰

George (right) and his big brother Arthur (or Artie) visited us today and what joy they brought our team with their big smiles and cute squishy faces! 🥹🥰
George had his second puppy vaccine & was so brave, especially with his big brother by his side. What a gorgeous pair!! 😍🐶
Little Stevie came in yesterday for her desexing procedure & although she showed her sassy side, she stole the hearts of our team! Just look at that sweet face! 😻😻
At home she is a bundle of energy, so she boarded here at the clinic overnight to ensure she had a smooth recovery and will be home in no time! 🏠
Thank you to all our lovely clients for your patience while we navigated through the storms yesterday and today ⛈️ We lost our main reception lights so we had some fun creating some light with torches, lanterns and desk lamps. Rudy certainly enjoyed the “mood” lighting! 🐱 We luckily have our main lights back up and running safely, thanks to the electricians for sorting this out for us! 🤩

Main character energy for Mars 😻 Mars stayed with us recently at our boarding facilities and his owners mentioned he loves to listen to Jazz music. So we put some on for him, and he definitely appreciated the extra love 🥰

This beautiful girl is Kiki 💖 Here she is enjoying some TLC with Veterinary Nurse Emilie as she recovered from her anaesthetic last week. She was admitted into hospital last week after her owners discovered a large abscess forming on her back near her hind limbs. Dr. Jakki came to the rescue and Kiki was anaesthetised for further investigation. Luckily today she was back for her post-operative check up and drain removal, and is doing much better! If your cat is indoors and outdoors, it is important to monitor for any changes in your cat’s behaviour, such as loss of appetite, lameness or lethargy. If you are worried your cat might have an infected wound, please speak with our friendly team and we will assist you.
We love our veterinary reception assistants, we just think they’re the cutest! Thank you Stormy for your help today! 🐶🐾❤️

Chi Chi and her brother cat Coco (photo in the comments) are regular boarders with us here at the cattery. They are both long haired cats and need to be brushed every other day to reduce the risk of hairballs developing. Here is Veterinary Nurse Emilie giving Chi Chi her daily brush, and as you can see, they are both really enjoying the experience! (Listen carefully for Chi Chi’s purr!😻) If you have any special requests while your cat is staying with us, please let us know on admission and we will try our very best to do it for you.
