Our Story
Dogs have been domesticated for thousands of years so why does your pet act up? Did he not get the memo? Often a dog will ‘misbehave’ while it attempts to understand an instruction from his human who has perhaps overlooked the translation. Only recently have we begun to understand canine behaviours and work with their natural instincts. Of course we adore them but our expectations of a modern dog are often a world away from their hard-wired impulses but more in keeping with human conveniences. We ask them to sit. Stay. Come. Above all most of us ask them to remain solitary and sedentary for 8 hours a day without a toilet break, and them to quieten down when we do finally return home. What I love most about The Dog House is that it brings company, fun and engagement to the daily lives of our pack. It is a pleasure to see them express themselves like true dogs. This in turn brings peace of mind and well, simply peace and quiet to the humans!
