Cat Cabana has a lovely open-air ambience about it and the cats can enjoy the feel of the outdoors as they watch over the garden and listen to the birds in the trees. They have the privacy of their own enclosures and the choice to come out and relax in the safety of the Cabana and enclosed sundeck if they wish. A cat needs to be comfortable and in an environment that is not stressful to relax. Cat Cabana is just that place!

You must live locally and be available to work Mornings or Evenings during the July School Holidays and some weekends.
The right person for the job will need to be confident with feline handling.
You will also need to be a capable and Very Thorough Cleaner!!
Commonsense & initiative is essential, as well as the ability to accurately follow instructions.
Duties Include:
Feeding cats and cleaning enclosures & litter trays.

This is LEONARD!
He is about 6 years of age & he is now homeless 😧😭He is a healthy desexed male cat & he has a current vet report showing this.
He is microchipped, and recently had a major dental treatment.
Leonard is an indoor/outdoor cat.
He mutually adopted an elderly lady after he was abandoned on the streets.
He has no experience of children that we know of...
Leonard is a delightful, loving, cuddly cat.
He is gentle and sweet.
He is a short haired champagne coloured boy. He has been much loved by his elderly Mum, & she is devastated that he must be rehomed due to her move into an aged care facility.

You must have a Driver’s license & a vehicle, and be available to work some Mornings or Evenings during School Terms, School Holidays and some weekends & Public Holidays.

Duties Include:
Feeding cats and cleaning enclosures & litter trays.

Cleaning Cattery and general housekeeping chores.

Playing with & brushing our Feline guests.

Assistance with other Cattery duties.

After a Trial period varying Morning & Evening shifts are available.

Previous experience working in the animal industry is essential.

Prefer students studying Animal Studies or Veterinary Nursing or a Pet Services Professional.

Applicants must have their own ABN and own Insurance.

The right person for the job will have experience in all areas of Feline husbandry and be confident with feline handling & medicating.

Successful applicants must be hard-working and have a real passion for animals.

You will also need to be a capable and Very Thorough Cleaner.

Commonsense and initiative & duty of care is required, as well as the ability to accurately follow instructions & procedures!

You must have a Driver’s license & a vehicle, and be available to work Mornings or Evenings during School Terms, School Holidays and some weekends & Public Holidays.

Duties Include:
Feeding cats and cleaning enclosures & litter trays.

Cleaning Cattery and general housekeeping chores.

Playing with & brushing our Feline guests.

Assistance with other Cattery duties.

After a Trial period varying Shifts are available 7 days per week.

AM Start Time: Mornings before 9am for 1.5 hours.

PM Start Time: Evenings 5.30pm for 1 hour.

Rate of pay is per hour:
Negotiable based on experience & suitability.

SALEM & his slow feeder He is still waiting for his forever home! 🐾🥰😹

SALEM 🐾 Is lonely here at CAT CABANA ! He Needs an Awesome new home... Why is he homeless? Salem recently lost his elderly human Mother, a lovely lady called Jean as a result of her sudden death a couple of weeks ago. I have taken him into Cat Cabana for respite, as I have looked after him for around five years now & really like his nature & character. Breed: Black Domestic Shorthair Sex: Male Desexed Age: 6 Years old Salem is vaccinated, microchipped, desexed & has been wormed & treated for fleas. Health Status: Salem is in good health, though requires daily medication for an underlying heart condition, that was caused by tick paralysis. He will need regular vet checks to ensure that his heart condition is being managed well with the medications. His medication is: Fortekor & Frudix every morning. The family of his previous owners’ will assist with this cost for the first 6 months. DESCRIPTION: A big black feline Panther is how I would describe Salem… He is kind of Majestic in some ways as he has a very special quiet & loving nature, though he is also outgoing & friendly. He is Feline Friendly & behaves well with other cats in a cattery situation. What Salem needs: Ideally Salem would be suited to a quiet home as he is not used to children. He is social with other cats, so provided the introduction is slow & gradual I think he would enjoy the company of other cats. He likes cuddles & play, loves his food & is just stunning to look at… Available for Adoption Now. To the right home only ! An Adoption Fee will apply on Application to assist with further rescues.
