Hey there, I'm Icarus, a pup with a name as adventurous as my spirit! Let me give you a playful glimpse into my world,:

🌟 Just like Icarus from mythology, I'm all about exploring new horizons and having fun along the way. I've aced crate training, nailed my manners, and I'm a pro at using the puppy toilet. Sure, I might need a gentle nudge now and then, but I'm a fast learner and always up for an adventure.

🍗 Food is my jam! I've had my share of food adventures (or misadventures) before my foster days, but now I'm a happy foodie without a hint of aggression. Mealtime is my favorite time, and I'll wag my tail in delight for every yummy bite.

🐶 When it comes to play, I'm like Icarus soaring through the skies! I love rough sheppie games with my foster siblings, and I'm not shy about tagging along for quad bike rides or cuddle sessions in laps—anyone's lap will do!

🐱 Exploring the world means getting to know everyone, even those funny creatures like cats and chickens. I'm still learning the art of playing nice, just like Icarus learned not to fly too close to the sun. With a bit of guidance, I'm sure to master the art of polite puppy play.

Happiest of Birthday's to Flint. 4yrs old today.
He was rescued from a puppy mill in Gladstone when he was only a few months old. Unfortunately Flint has a heart defect and won the lottery when Melanie Thomas put her hand up to give him a home.
Thank you to the RSPCA for exposing the puppy mill and to the supporters of Btra.inc, thank you for being his Godparents 🐾🥰

Logan is going to VSS to see an internal medicine specialist on Wednesday. Hopefully they can get to the bottom of his mysterious illness.
Since coming back into full-time permanent foster care, Logan has been to 4 Veterinary Clinics and had several tests.
He has been treated for yeast infection, chronic ear infection, removal of mast cell tumours, eye infection plus had several urine, blood and f***l tests. He was treated for Clostridia bacterial infection. He also had an ultrasound and was tested for autoimmune disease. He's been on two elimination diets and is on a strict diet of Prime100 Crocodile and Tapioca plus Royal Canin Hypo-allergenic/Anallergenic and Hills ZD plus In SideOut prebiotics/probiotics powder. Logan has strange reactions to environment and food. We switched from Niramine injections when required to 4 iramine tablets daily, 2 losec tablets daily plus Cerenia when required. Hopefully VSS can find the cause. We are currently treating his symptoms but would like to manage them more effectively. We have a lovely vet on the island who drops food and medications to our house, phones me after hours with results and has spoken to other vets and specialist for advice on Logan's very unusual reactions.

UPDATE 29.07.22 Rosie has been on trial for two weeks and has settled in nicely. Her new mum and dad are thrilled with her and have fallen in love 💯💛🐾 Thank you to all involved

Introducing Rosie🌹located SE Qld
Rosie is a one year and 9 months old desexed female. She grew up in a small family and loves playing and wrestling with her 9 year old human brother. She loves physical contact and can not wait for you to sit down to give you kisses and cuddles or just lie her head on your lap. Her favourite game is playing fetch and she never grows tired of it. She is also a hunter at heart, so loves chasing ants, birds, lizards, possums and the occasional cat. She sleeps inside on her comfy doggy bed but will not let the chance pass to check if she can join you on your bed. Due to personal circumstances Rosie’s current family needs to find her a new home. Ideally she needs a new family with patience and time to settle her in her new surrounds and make her feel safe as she can be unsure of new people and surroundings. She would like to continue being the only pet in the home. Cats and chickens aren't compatible with her either. Rosie isn't 100% Bull Terrier.

UPDATE: April
We've been to the vet for check up and got the all clear!! Weaning off the last of the pain meds, monitoring and keeping fingers crossed all will be well and no reoccurrance of whatever happened🤞 She's almost 100% back to her old self- tail always wagging wildly, my little shadow, and running amok making me laugh everyday. What a relief. THANKYOU to EVERYONE who donated, we both appreciate your kindness and generosity 🐶❤ K&A.

Hi everyone!
This here is sweet heart, Beau, and he is looking for a forever home.

Beau is a 8-year old purebred Bull Terrier and has been with his current family since he was 2 years old. The family is looking to rehome the fur-baby due to certain personal circumstances. He is very polite, has bursts of energy and very happy to have plenty of naps during the day. He has a wonderful, loving and charming personality.

He has mainly been an outsie dog and is also desexed. Im sure he would love to be an inside dog or both.

Beau would thrive with a loving owner, preferably a family or individual who spends quality time with him. He has been around children and loves all humans.

When it comes to socialising with other animals, he has only befriended chickens only. He does not socialise well with small dogs, puppies or cats. He is not yet tested with medium to large size dogs so best he is the only dog in the family.

He loves: daily walks, belly rubs, food, socialising with humans, cuddles, being part of family gatherings. He is such a sweet heart and absolutely loves people.

Note: He has been known to dig near fences if he hears dogs next door. Bricks have helped with this in the past.

Rocky is new to rescue and is currently with our behaviouralist/training facility and responding well to rehabilitation.
This gorgeous young man will be staying at the training facility until he is ready for rehoming.

Logan has been feeling unwell again. He has been to the vet twice this week. First visit was for his severe allergic reactions, we are now armed with antihistamine injections for him plus more anti nausea tablets. He has also been lame for three days and was given Gabapentin for pain relief. Plus losec to settle his stomach. Unfortunately his diarrhoea continued and he was taken to the vet again on Sunday. Logan has had a blood test, urine test and f***l sample tested also. He has a high range bacterial infection in his stomach and has been taking antibiotics for it. The vets believe there may be something more sinister going on and Logan is scheduled for an ultrasound on Tuesday. Logan's current vet bills amount to $1075.75. He has been on an elimination diet and is currently eating boiled chicken and was recently given Royal Canin Hypo-allergenic ( Soya Protein Isolate). Logan also has the start of Kidney disease. He is getting showered with love. The vet nurses always swoon over this heart stealer.
