Back in May I had a really fun day shooting Sheridan Australia's new pet collection. All the people featured are staff members and all the dogs they're posing with are their own. No trained models and look how well they all did!

I had to keep the project secret until they officially launched a few days ago but now I'm excited to finally be able to share these images. I regularly get a look of surprise from whoever I'm talking to when I say I can photograph people too - so here's some more proof for you 😄

Sheridan very kindly sent me three beds for my own dogs. They sell two sizes - large and medium. The medium is a good fit for a Vebo XL crate and the large is good for multi-dog homes or big dogs that like to stretch out. You can read all about them on the Sheridan website.

Another of my Canberra dog friends has passed away. You might remember Marla was the cover star of my 2018 Rescued Blockheads calendar. She made it to the ripe old age of 13.5yrs and passed away, peacefully in Em's arms, just days after her cancer diagnosis. Sending much love to all of Marla's friends and family at this difficult time ❤️

I used to do gymnastics, can you tell? 😂 Not shown is the “ow, ow, ows” when I leaned back for too long and my stomach muscles went into spasm. The entertainment I offer (at my own expense) is all part of the experience!

After a short battle with cancer, Frankie left this world last week. Sending so much love to her family - Jeremy, Dom and Penny. Thank you for entrusting me with capturing these precious memories for you over the years. I hope you treasure them as much as I do the photos of my dogs who've passed 🥰

Baby Spike turned one today 🥳 (Or maybe his birthday is on the 8th of October, the paperwork had both dates, but his brother's adopter was going to celebrate today so we said we'd do the same. Butters' is in October so no harm spacing them out!)

He had his photoshoot yesterday while my assistant/husband was free to help. I didn't think he'd be in any of the pics so excuse his outfit. I actually photoshopped him out of any that I could, sorry Dave 🤣

This is the first location shoot Spike's had so we brought all his favourite toys. The frisbee was new, and he wasn't sure about it at first, but when he realised it could be a tug toy he was on board. He got a toy donut in lieu of cake because I figured he'd get more fun out of it.

Unfortunately Dave was helping to keep Spike from running down to the dam when we did the birthday hat photo so there's no video of the incessant Staffy chat. You'll have to take our word for it that it was pretty hilarious!

We didn't adopt Spike as a puppy, he's only been with us since March, but he's made himself completely at home and the other two boys have fully accepted him (thank f**k!!). He's such an adorably affectionate little brat and neither of us have any regrets. Here's to lots more snuggles and adventures ... and maybe some more foster puppies when the weather warms up, that will be interesting!

10 years ago on Sunday I fell in love with this extremely handsome merle boy. Now I have my very own handsome merle boy (who's nowhere near as well behaved!).

I first met Leo's owner at the Dog Lover's Show last November. She bought a voucher for a portrait session and ordered a Ruthless Leather collar for her dog.

New group photo of the kids (as the last one was Easter themed!). Spike's training is paying off. He was at least 50% less obnoxious with his barking at me for treats and launching off the ottoman than he was last time. Progress 😅

Oh, and this is birthday week so you all have to be extra nice to me 🤣

Imagine adopting a dog this handsome, thinking they're going to be your next muse, but they're a royal pain in the arse in front of the camera! I have a major sense of deja vu. At least Bruno didn't bark at me relentlessly for not dispensing treats quickly enough 😅

So, if you were wondering why I haven't shared many pics of Spike, this is why! I'm dying to take him on location for a shoot but his obedience needs a lot of work before that's a fun outing for me.

(This shoot was to show off his new harness that I made him for the slat mill, so he doesn't have to share Ninja's one. It hasn't had a test run yet though because I've been bed ridden with the flu. Luckily for Spike he was more than happy to spend three days in bed with me and the red dogs - I think the fact that the weather was so awful helped.)

Meet Bacon the Cavoodle puppy 😍 I've never met a more chilled out dude. He was extra easy to photograph and I can't wait to see him again for a location shoot, when he's a bit older.
