Did I share the super elegant BTS photo of me from Weiss' shoot on here? Well these are the finished images!

Never before has a dog jumped on me so many times with wet sandy paws but I still came away from the shoot wanting to do it all again 😆 I first met Weiss when he came for a Valentine's Day mini session and I've photographed him three more times since then. That might be some kind of record!

If you've checked out my end of year special I'll post a digital flip of his custom designed album in the comments to give you an idea of what I could create for you and your dog.

And once again, for the people at the back, yes I can include you/people in some portraits of your pets!

Nala's people answered my newsletter callout for a puppy model and then came back a week later for a Christmas mini-session too. How bloody cute is she?

My first ever year of Christmas mini sessions is here. After six test shoots with 11 dogs and one puppy I'm finally ready to launch. More than ready actually!

This was her owners' third session with me. First I photographed their two Dobies, then their two rescue blockheads and now their latest family member, Dolly. (Their previous dogs all lived to old age, I've just been doing this dog photography thing a very long time!)

Her people met her at a greyhound adoption day. They had gone to ‘check out the greyhounds’ because they'd seen and liked them at the Easter show. Dolly went home with them that day and couldn't be more happy and loved. In their words "She’s so chilled and placid. She loves everyone."

She was very drawn to my pink sofa, which technically is for people at my studio to sit on, not part of my set. But it was where she was happiest so it became part of my set that day! These are some of their favourites. I'll share a video of the completed order in the comments.

Helping animal welfare groups remains central to everything I do. Photographing dogs in need is where my pet photography journey started and it’s still something I devote a large portion of my time to.

Back in May I had a really fun day shooting Sheridan Australia's new pet collection. All the people featured are staff members and all the dogs they're posing with are their own. No trained models and look how well they all did!

I had to keep the project secret until they officially launched a few days ago but now I'm excited to finally be able to share these images. I regularly get a look of surprise from whoever I'm talking to when I say I can photograph people too - so here's some more proof for you 😄

Sheridan very kindly sent me three beds for my own dogs. They sell two sizes - large and medium. The medium is a good fit for a Vebo XL crate and the large is good for multi-dog homes or big dogs that like to stretch out. You can read all about them on the Sheridan website.

Another of my Canberra dog friends has passed away. You might remember Marla was the cover star of my 2018 Rescued Blockheads calendar. She made it to the ripe old age of 13.5yrs and passed away, peacefully in Em's arms, just days after her cancer diagnosis. Sending much love to all of Marla's friends and family at this difficult time ❤️

I used to do gymnastics, can you tell? 😂 Not shown is the “ow, ow, ows” when I leaned back for too long and my stomach muscles went into spasm. The entertainment I offer (at my own expense) is all part of the experience!

After a short battle with cancer, Frankie left this world last week. Sending so much love to her family - Jeremy, Dom and Penny. Thank you for entrusting me with capturing these precious memories for you over the years. I hope you treasure them as much as I do the photos of my dogs who've passed 🥰
