Our hearts can’t handle how cute these kittens are 😍

Their mum was heavily pregnant when she first came into our care, so we’ve had the privilege of watching these little ones grow from the very beginning into the happy, healthy and confident kittens they are today. 🥰

In a few weeks’ time, they’ll be ready to find their forever homes. Until then, you can follow their journey and keep an eye out for adoption updates on our other page, Beaches Rehoming Centre 🐾

Elbie, the gorgeous Jack Russell who was rescued from the 13th floor apartment ledge yesterday, has been recovering with us. We’ve received many enquiries from the community about her, and we are thrilled to report that she’s doing really well. We look forward to sending her home to her family very soon 🥰

Little Willow came in for her final puppy vaccinations yesterday. Halfway through the consult she decided to take matters into her own hands … taking Dr Cherylyn’s stethoscope and holding onto it very well. We think she might want to be a vet when she grows up! 🐾🩺

Meet Luna the sphynx cat! 🐈‍⬛

Luna came in for a consult with Dr Emily recently to have her eyes checked. The last photo shows how we check for eye ulcers in animals - we apply a dye to the eyes called fluorescein which glows bright green under blue light in order to look for any irregularities. Fortunately for Luna, all was well - the green that you see around her eyes is just excess stain.

If you have any concerns about your pet’s eyes, it’s best to see a vet sooner rather than later as eye conditions can be very painful and can deteriorate rapidly. We consult every day of the week, please call 9971 8487 to make an appointment.

These 7 week old Pomeranian puppies came in yesterday for their first vet check, puppy vaccination and microchipping, and we were absolutely swooning!! They don’t look like they’re real! 🧸

It’s safe to say that no two days are the same in a vet clinic! 🦎

This blue tongue lizard was brought in recently as he was having difficulties moving around. Unfortunately, his back right foot was in trouble and needed to be amputated. Our wonderful Dr Wister anaesthetised him and performed the surgery, and we are thrilled to report that he has made a full recovery! He is now being carefully rehabilitated by a wildlife carer with the aim of eventually being released back into the wild. 🌿🦎

If you have any towels or blankets that you are looking to get rid of, we are in desperate need and would love donations!

We are in need of:
✅ Bath towels
✅ Beach towels
✅ Blankets
❌ We don’t accept any items of bedding such as sheets or doonas

🧼 Please wash the towels / blankets before bringing them in so that we can use them straight away!

Our opening hours are as follows - feel free to drop in any time!
