Suzy Spoon's Vegetarian Butcher is a well-known vegetarian and vegan butcher shop located in Sydney, Australia. It was founded by Suzy Spoon, a passionate advocate for plant-based eating. The store offers a wide range of plant-based meats and products that mimic the taste and texture of traditional meats, but are made entirely from plant ingredients. Our factory is open for wholesale pick up Mon-Fri 9am-4pm. We now have a retail store in Marrickville where we sell our packaged products and also sell a selection of takeaway hot food like (all vegan food) fish & chips, pluto pups, KFC style seitan & tofu nuggets, toasties and hot dogs. There's a few seats but Enmore park is just a stone throw away and is perfect to eat your fish & chips.

🌱 SUPPORT YOUR VEGAN BUSINESSES🌱

It’s becoming a sadly regular occurrence at the moment with vegan business going out of business 😢

In the 12 years we’ve had this business we’ve seen so much happen in such a short time.
It’s hard, it’s hard to keep that fighting spirit sometimes - emotionally, mentally, physically and well financially.
But, we’re still here, and so are many of the other fighting businesses.

The big supermarkets are convenient and yes have a big range of products but if you can, try and buy directly from the businesses, the growers, the makers, the vegan bakers, the vegan chocolate makers, the local markets, support the vegan markets, eat out or order in from the vegan eateries themselves, buy from vegan supermarkets or vegan online stores - they have the best vegan ranges that support the vegan businesses.

I know sometimes it’s out of our control with price increases, supplier issues or ingredient issues but if you can, try and purchase directly or just stop by that vegan business and tell them they’re doing a great job.
Believe me, it will put a smile on our faces.
Let’s not see another one of our friends go out of business 🩷🩷

I think I say that every year, the older I get the faster it goes 🤔

Just over 8 weeks until Christmas. I know it seems a little early but start planning now and save the headache

Im not even vegan - I just love good food. I went to the Carriageworks Markets this morning and got some Polenta, sundried tomato & basil sausages and also a pack of the kle & cauliflower sausages. They also had some pretty awesome pies as well. I"m heading ro their shop for lunch. So much to choose from. I think im going to het the nuggets and im super keen to try the fish and chips.
