Luna and Pepper are a gorgeous 8 months old bonded pair with a quiet charm and gentle nature. They can be quite shy initially but once they trust you they come out of their shell and love spending time with their safe people.
Luna is an absolute sweetheart who adores the company of other cats and treasures her bond with her brother, Pepper. She loves attention and has really come out of her shell—now starting each day by gently approaching her carer in bed for morning cuddles. While she enjoys affection, it’s always on her own terms. Every so often, she’ll grace a lap with her presence, making those moments even more special.

Pepper is the playful spirit of the pair. He’ll happily spend hours zooming around with his favourite toys—especially springs! Like his sister, he’s grown to love pats and attention, and his affectionate nature shines through more each day.

Indiana and Nico are doing so well! Although they absolutely love each other it took them no time at all to settle in fully with the resident cat Jin. "They are growing well and are super sweet and cheeky!"

When Panda first arrived at SAFE, he was a very scared, scruffy and unsocialised kitten unsure of the world around him. But after just a couple of months in foster care, he has blossomed into a playful little guy with the shiniest fur and a growing curiosity for human connection. He’s now starting to enjoy gentle pats and clearly appreciates the company of people, often sitting closer and closer to his carer each day (right after he has done his 10000 steps for the day).

Panda is still a work in progress, but his transformation so far has been nothing short of heartwarming. With a little patience and a lot of love, we believe he’ll continue to thrive and grow into a loyal and affectionate companion. If you’re looking for a sweet kitten to share your home and help blossom into his full potential, Panda might just be the one.

Mellow is a 7 year old Japanese Spitz who is looking for his forever home. He can live in a home with children of any age, and would love a home with another dog and a backyard. He loves his walks and exploring before having a tummy rub and snuggles on the couch at night. He is crate trained for sleeping, but is allowed to roam freely during the day. Mellow is desexed and microchipped, and will be fully vaccinated before going to his forever home.

Mellow is located in Newcastle, NSW with interstate adoption being possible with pickup from Sydney and virtual meet and greet.

"I adopted timid Jane ( now Janey) in December 2023. Although I still cannot pat her she has improved immensely and is a beautiful cat....my new addition Jack, a 7 month old kitten has been such a comfort to her. Although she is still timid, Janey looks for me, is far more engaged and seems much more at ease. She is a wonderful cat 😍"
We love these updates and are so glad to hear that whilst Janey's still not quite ready for pats, she’s made incredible progress and has blossomed into a beautiful, gentle soul. And it's been so rewarding for Joanne to see Janey develop and make a devoted friend to Jack. 💛

Boyka is an 2 year old German Shepherd x who is looking for his forever home. He doesn’t mind being left alone during the day, and is a little (big!) shadow if you are home. He is an outdoor dog who enjoys playing with and chewing toys, or playing fetch. Boyka loves to interact with people he knows and is incredibly bouncy so would benefit from ongoing training to channel his energy. He is a highly intelligent dog who loves food and picks up on training very quickly. Boyka would like a home with a big backyard, children over 12 and no other pets as he is dog selective. He is desexed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and preventative treatment.

Boyka is located in Sydney, NSW with interstate adoption being possible with pickup from Sydney and virtual meet and greet.
