Meet Emily & Annabelle – Bonded Mother-Daughter Duo

Emily and Annabelle share a special mother-daughter bond and are looking for a forever home together. Emily is the more outgoing of the two affectionate, friendly, and always happy to accept pats. Annabelle, on the other hand, is much shyer and takes comfort in having her mum by her side. They’ve been through a lot together, even raising their kittens side by side, and now it’s their turn to find a loving, patient home.

As a pair that needs time to settle in, Emily and Annabelle would do best in a quiet household with older children (12+) or adults who can give them the space and reassurance they need. Since arriving at SAFE, Luna has shown herself to be a super friendly and affectionate companion who enjoys human company and is always up for a pat or a play session. She’s confident, curious, and full of personality—one of those cats who will greet you at the door and make sure you’re never lonely.

While Luna thrives on affection, she also appreciates her boundaries being respected. Like many cats, she can get a little overstimulated during play or cuddles, and she’ll let you know when she needs some space. Because of this, she’s best suited to a home with people who understand cat behaviour and can give her the space and respect she deserves. Luna would love a home where she can feel safe, loved, and be her playful, cheeky self.

Prime is looking for a home that will give him the space to build his confidence at his own pace. Once he feels safe, he’ll reward you with his affectionate and playful personality. 💕 FOSTER TO ADOPT 💕

Sonny is a 1 year-old Japanese Spitz x Pomeranian who is looking for his foster to adopt home. He would love a home with other dogs to teach him the ropes and a backyard, but no cats and no children under 12. Sonny does have severe anxiety which needs consistent training due to his previous home environment, but he loves dogs and becomes more comfortable around people in their presence.

He is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and health checked with his adoption fee being $200 after an initial foster period (and meet and greet).

Sonny is located in Sydney, NSW with interstate foster to adopt being possible with pickup from Sydney and virtual meet and greet.

In the shelter, he’s shown he can enjoy the company of both adult cats and kittens, playing through the enclosure wires with curiosity and enthusiasm. Leclerc’s relationship with people is more complex, his behaviour can be unpredictable, and he needs someone who understands cat body language and can respect his boundaries. Its possible that shelter life simply doesn’t suit him, and in a patient, cat-savvy home, he may truly thrive. He’s looking for an adopter who will give him the space and time he needs to settle in and feel secure. If you’re experienced with cats and ready to give Leclerc the understanding and care he needs, he could become a wonderful and rewarding companion.
