ASHAMED AND OUTRAGED
Am really disgusted with people in Chester Hill and the treatment the cats in particular have been subjected to.
People who live in the area (some in particular) are so cruel to the stray cats.
I have seen the community of stray cats and even owned cats been abused, neglected and targeted by particular people who reside in Chester Hill.
They drive at them at full speed and target them to kill with their big vehicles.
I have been managing a few colonies not just in Chester hill, but surrounding areas for some time. I used to go as far as Fairfield helping the feeders there feed, controlled colonies.
I was up to 8 colonies at one stage, feeding trapping, desexing, rescuing, and sadly picking up deceased bodies off the road during this period of time.
I had to do my part to help with the ever growing numbers of sick, abandoned, non desexed street cats in my neighbourhood, it was getting way out of control.
I can safely say I helped up to 70 street cats by various methods get medical help and help to feed and try to educate as I learnt from rescues and other feeders and rescues myself.
I kid you not, this is a particularly chaotic experience and is mentally and physically exhausting WORK.
It’s not done for fun, it’s done for Community, for Humanity and for Animal Welfare.
Being the voice for these innocent lives to just live.
They don’t need to just live they need to survive, they need to fight for their survival in this cruel neighbourhood.
I AM ASHAMED TO LIVE IN THIS NEIGHBOURHOOD.
Where is GOD??
Where is ALLAH??
Where is HUMAN IT Y???
What has become of COMMUNITY???!!
I have included some definitions of the word COMMUNITY for your reference!
People forget and become selfish and ignorant and don’t care about our community.
INSTEAD
They lash out, point fingers!
They blame, they criticise!
They see disgust, they complain!
They trash, they humiliate!
They yell, they abuse!
THEY ARE YOU,
THEY ARE OUR COMMUNITY,
THEY ARE YOUR HOME!
THEY ARE YOU AND I….😢
I have seen this beautiful community to raise your children, and their children’s children, become a ghost of a community.
What can YOU DO TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE YOU ASK??
Stop the trash talking, the abuse and neglect and become a neighbourhood again.
We need to work together to make a difference in our community.
I hate to see my beloved hometown turn to trash town, not only the rubbish and stray cats, the people who live in this neighbourhood are all responsible in caring for it.
Don’t leave it for someone else, because it all starts in your own community, in your neighbourhood, in your street, in your home.
Please don’t abuse animal feeders, trappers, or the animals, because in the next life, all the bad you have done by running down an animal who is homeless, will come back in the form of Karma. Whether it’s in this life or the next life, karma will be your punishment.
So do good, don’t hate and don’t leave an animal who’s been struck by a car purposely whilst trying to eat to survive on these streets on the road to keep being run over. Remove that animal, it could be a pet, a colony cat that’s managed or a dumped cat that people have left behind to fend for themselves, don’t leave it on the road to die alone or to be left unidentified by its owner, do some good and move it to the side of the road and cover it with a towel or bag whatever you have and help yourself to be happy in your life or the after life, because Karma will come back to you in some form or manner.
You could be that cat in the next life!
Animal cruelty is animal cruelty.
It starts in your own backyard!
Don’t ignore the situation, or add to the problem, be part of the solution for a brighter happier future and neighbourhood.
Help community cats, report abuse and be their voice for change in your community! ASHAMED AND OUTRAGED
