The type of carrier you have for your cat or kitten makes a difference! We hate having to yank a cat out of a tiny door when they visit us. This is why we highly recommend top-opening carriers such as these. The cats can be removed gently and with minimal stress or even treated whilst still sitting in the bottom half. Leave the carrier in a common space and throw treats and toys in there so they aren't scared of it. You can even use pheromone sprays such as Feliway to help calm them in the car.

Infectious tracheitis sometimes known as Kennel Cough is a highly contagious disease that causes a honking or hacking cough as Fletcher is so beautifully demonstrating . Clients will often say “something is stuck in their throat” as the cough sounds so bad! But never fear, if your pet is vaccinated they will have very mild symptoms. We see quite a bit of this in the area particularly in the dog parks so if your dog is coughing please keep them home!

Chicken Nugget here, today I spent the day hanging out at Parkes Street Vet!
I snore a little so they thought they should look up my nose!
I got cuddles with Dr Prue, showed her how to use a stethoscope and then I helped her do her write ups.
I monitored reception and showed Nurse Laura how to delete appointments that I didn’t like the colour of.
I think they’ll want to hire me as a clinic cat soon for sure!!
