Beautiful BELLA is one of our new girls. We’ve been so blessed to spend time together thus far. We both will be learning a lot from each other as we progress the coming weeks…

👀EYE CONTACT: Even if you only want to teach toilet training for example if your dog doesn’t trust you and is unsure of what you’re asking, good luck.
.
.
There will be LOADS of things your dog will need to learn whether we like it or not.
.
.
While you have his attention on you, be the leader he needs you to be and give him a behaviour to do that you’d like rather than waiting for him to make a bad decision and form bad habits that you don’t want to see.

Just when we think we ‘only’ need to teach one thing, there are loads of things your dog will need to learn and it’s the owners responsibility to educate their dog. Even if you pay a trainer to do it.
.
.
Your dog will come back from the trainer and still be relying on you otherwise it will all be a waist of your money.
.
.
Your family, friends and your dog will thank you for it.
Friday Feeds are underway…come on we all like to take a nibble before dinner is officially served right? 😋🤷🏼♀️
RORY is a funny little 8yo lop eared bloke I’ve had the pleasure to visit. Not caged and safely free range living. Air con, fresh water and plenty fresh vegetables and he’s not alone. His sister is Penny the cat 😆
- Rory is the boss lol!
Critical Socialisation Window
As a gauge closes between 12 and 18 weeks old
.
.
Pups who are not socialised with people and your everyday environment at home will likely have serious consequence later down the track.
.
.
Let’s not rush into forcing ‘obedience’ like SIT, STAY & COME. This is not the most important thing your young pup needs to learn. Dogs will learn this whether 8 weeks or 8 years old…
.
.
1. Create purposeful ‘positive’ experiences at home to prepare them for life in our world.
2. When your puppy is comfortablly/calmy approaching new people at home, gradually introduce new people in the outside environment.
3. If your puppy appears to bark when guests enter, meet outside.
4. We don’t want to encourage your dog to bark when people come over & ask guests not to approach your puppy.
5. If your pup is a little shy don’t ask them to offer food treats.
6. Your pup might enjoy interacting with a fun toy instead.
7. You can feed your puppy treats in the presence of calm respectful guests as an alternative.
8. When your puppy is comfortable meeting your friends and family, arrange to meet up at outside at different locations.
9. If he is still shy, ask someone your puppy already knows to go with you.
10. Don’t leave it to chance when out and about as most people and dogs won’t want to work with you and go and your pups pace.
NOTICE
Dog to dog socialisation wasn’t top of the list?🤔
Calming down, cuddly and my BFF every time I visit.

Super impressed to see thAt.
Far out I will have to take this little girl to get scanned! Her owner kind of needs to know she has a second home and she will be pregnant soon if she doesn't get locked inside at night…
