Is it an emergency?
Yes it could be and no not always depending on each individual pet’s health, size and luck I suppose however the frequency and amount of onion your dog injests matters. Dr Chris mentions repeated exposure of moderate levels onions over a period of time (or a larger quantity at once) increases chance of running into issues.
A chemical in onion attacks cats and dogs red blood cells so it can be life threatening for some however an accidental nibble dropped on the floor doesn’t necessarily mean an emergency trip to the vet is required.

Walkies time darlin girl. I go and wake Buddy’s brother up first. He takes a while to wake. While he’s finding his feet Buddy gets saddled up the little cuties. Walks for our seniors are slow and all about the sniff, toilet and keeping the joints moving gently & freely god them them 😌

Selfies in the city while out doing paw/poop patrol we all need to try to remember to pack enough poo bags or shoot back and pick them up after the walk if we run out of bags. It happens I know. Sometimes we have a malfunction with the LAST poo bag in our pocket having a hole in it lol it happens and it’s so not funny! 🤭😆

Most of us at least try to do the right thing however there are still some who refuse to pick up after their pets. Dog and cat owners you know who you are Hmmmmm…..🧐🧐🧐
