Doggies and Soul Doggies and Soul provides professional massage therapy to dogs enabling them to experience the many psychological and physical benefits of massage.

"Doggies and Soul" is the brainchild of Shirley Hamilton. It marries two of her great passions, her love of dogs and skills in providing personal therapy to humans. Having one of her own dogs suffer from severe arthritis and witnessing the benefits that dog massage provided, motivated her to become a certified Canine Myofunctional Therapist. Sadly, generally, our furry loved ones die before we do.

Many people also lose their pets in other ways. Like any human loss it is a painful and challenging time. Often you will feel lonely, and unsupported. Doggies and Soul provides a pet loss/bereavement counselling service where you will receive genuine support to assist you in exploring the grief, with empathy and respect.

Public Service Announcement:

Important information from a post in Inner West Dog Group.

Narwee Dog park page ( Richard podmore dog park) have just been made aware that some people with leashes and no dogs are attempting to suss out off leash dog parks. We have had 2 sightings in the last week with someone entering the park with no dog and a lead in their hand and in some cases an empty big bag.
Police have been made aware, as a dog fighting ring has been shut down in lakemba area.
Keep an extra eye on your pups in off leash parks and report any suspicious activity.

Losing one of our pets is heartbreaking. Some people don’t understand the impact. Sometimes we feel guilty, angry, misunderstood, on our own. It’s complicated. We all have our own ways of dealing with the grief.
Doggies and Soul offer pet loss therapy. Sometimes having only a one of session can be useful or maybe more if that is what you think you need. Check out the website if you would like to know more or to book an appointment. Talk to someone who fully understands and has first hand experience of losing a fur family member.
