On behalf of all the BRN Committee we'd like to wish all of our fabulous volunteers and supporters a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Our committee (who double as our admin team) will be taking a well-earned break over the Christmas/New Year period as we look to rest and recharge after another busy year for all. The page will be pretty quiet over the next couple of weeks and responses to emails delayed.

Exciting news! The calendars have all been packed and dropped at the post office to start winging their way to those who have ordered. Thank you all for your patience, we appreciate it's a bit of a wait from pre-order to receipt. Please note that the orders generally do not have tracked postage (it helps keep our costs down). If your calendar does not arrive in the next week or two, please reach out to let us know and we'll sort something out for you.

UPDATE 31/12: Maisie has found her new home. Best wishes to all

PRIVATE REHOMING - MAISIE, 1 YR 9 MO, TRI FEMALE (DESEXED) BEAGLE
* Rehoming Fee: $350 via donation*

Maisie is on the lookout for a new home. She is a bigger dog, taller than an average beagle and weighs ~20kg. Maisie is currently an outside-only dog.

Please read Maisie's information carefully. She is very sensitive to her environment, struggles with impulse control and to calm down when over-excited. She will need a substantial transition period to assist learning and retaining skills. She is also a young dog and still has some of those hallmarks - bored easily, can be destructive digging and chewing.

Please note as a private rehoming Maisie's owner will field all enquiries and make all decisions regarding her new home. She is not in care with BRN and we have not assessed her. We know only what her owner has told us.

We recommend all dogs go to a new home on a trial basis, and that the trial period should be 30 days. In the event things don't work out (it happens), the dog would be returned to their original owner who would again seek to find them a new home. We recommend change of ownership forms are not submitted to council until a successful rehoming has been agreed at the end of the trial period.

Usual rules apply - keep it positive or keep it to yourself. Negative or judgemental comments will be removed and the poster may be banned from the page without further discussion.

A huge thank you to our hard working volunteers who helped out at a stifling hot Bunnings McGrath’s Hill BBQ today - Jacqui, Anthony, Lily, Ian, Jane and Camilla. It was a long, hot day but lovely to chat to all those who stopped by for a sausage and cold drink. Thanks also to Angela and Tennille for the generous donation towards the cost of supplies for today.
