MARRIAGE ADVICE

Larry (the Cavoodle) - “Many wives give their husbands a hard time when they want to go out with the boys. It causes issues.”

Me - “There’s a simple way around that Larry. Just be the type of bloke who your wife prefers to not have around.”

Me - “Like a charm! Come 6:15 on Wednesday, poker night, my lovely wife is tapping her watch asking ‘don’t you have somewhere to be’?”

BURTON THE RESCUE RAGDOLL

Me - “Now Burton, we’ve heard reports of some… discontent amongst our Rescue Cats.”

Burton (the Rescue Ragdoll) - “Oh really? Do tell.”

Me - “Yes, no names mentioned but apparently somebody has been suggesting they’re better than the other Rescues because they’re a purebred.”

Burton - (the Rescue Ragdoll) “I am un-surprised. That would be just like the street-bred crosses, to go slandering the fine, regal name of somebody who is well above their station.”

Me - “Burton… YOU’RE A RESCUE CAT TOO.”
