WATCHING THE BEAR

Me - “Due to all the hype around the series The Bear, I’m watching it with my wife.”

Delores (our Maltese x Shih Tzu) - “What’s it like?”

Me - “Absolutely brilliant! The acting is simply amazing. The characters are so real, so flawed, but also wonderful. One episode will be so dour and depressing that it’s hard to watch, then the next is so uplifting and joyous that you’re sitting there just buzzing.”

Delores (our Maltese x Shih Tzu) - “Wow. Big rap.”

Me - “It’s gold and deserves all the accolades. Have you seen it? If not, do yourself a favour.”

AN UNLIKELY CONSPIRACY

Me - “I was standing at the lifts today and one was out-of-order. This big guy next to me said they do that deliberately to save electricity.”

Handsome John (our Cavoodle) - “What’d you say?”

Me - “Well we could all hear the repair guys in the lift working on it, so I told him that. He thought for a few moments and said they put those guys in there to make noise so we don’t work out that they do it deliberately.”

Handsome John (our Cavoodle) - “Really?”

Me - “But I could tell even he, could see the unlikeliness of this. So with a questioning look to the bloke I asked you really think so? He hesitated and then said, nah… they probably don’t.”

Handsome John (our Cavoodle) - “Wow. You made a conspiracy-theorist see sense.”

Me - “I dragged him into the light like a writhing vampire. I was pretty happy with myself. May have ruined his day though.”

DO YOU RECOGNISE ME?

This girl was found 16/11/24 wandering queen street in botany before being taken to Sydney vet (emergency and specialist hospital)

She’s microchipped to Bondi but we’re having difficulty getting in contact with her owner.
