You may have heard that one of the microchip databases has closed down. The good news is that the NSW database, Pet Registry, is run by the NSW Government so it remains active and easy to update your details.

Go to https://petreg.nsw.gov.au/ to log in using your MyService NSW account to check your pet's details are up to date

Did you know that many human medications are toxic to dogs? 🐶💊🌡
ALWAYS STORE MEDICATIONS OUT OF REACH OF PETS

Tolak cream contains fluorouracil which is used to treat skin cancer and other skin conditions in people. If pets ingest some of this product, or even lick the skin where it has been applied on a person, it can result in poisoning.

Signs of fluorouracil poisoning in dogs include vomiting, seizures, shaking, difficulty breathing and diarrhoea. Toxicity can cause death in as little as 6 hours so seeking treatment as soon as possible is essential.

If you pet gets a C7, we will be transitioning one of the components to provide better coverage for the different strains of lepto.

This will mean that with your next vaccination, you may require a booster 4 weeks after for this component of the vaccine to continue with protection.
