A great wrap up from Australian Jumping on the NSW State Jumping Titles!

The titles were held here for four days with great weather and a number of titles, including Seniors, Young Riders, Juniors, Children and Amateurs.

The Services Officer role is an ongoing, full-time position based at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre.

As a Service Officer, you will work within the Operations team to deliver on reactive and planned maintenance repairs and upkeep of the venue grounds, buildings, machinery and equipment to re-enforce the venue’s focus on safety, and customer satisfaction. This role will support the venue operations and work closely with the Events team to deliver quality services and experiences to our clients.

Applications filling fast!

Applications for the Local Sport Defibrillator Grant Program are filling fast! With only 6 weeks (or until funds are exhausted) to complete and submit your application it is now time to make a start!

The Local Sport Defibrillator Grant Program provides grants of up to $3,000 to sporting and recreational organisations. The Program will fund up to $500,000 to these clubs across NSW.

When we think about sport, cyber safety isn’t a natural thought, but with the growing threat of global cyber security risks, it should be! 💻

With this in mind, Sport Integrity Australia have launched the Cyber Safety and Security for Sports course. Developed in partnership with the eSafety Commissioner and the Australian Cyber Security Centre, this free course aims to provide practical tools for sports to protect themselves from ever evolving cyber risks.

This week we are hosting Equimillion for 2024!!

We have loved following so many great stories in the journey to Equimillion this year and can't wait to see it all come together!

The event will take place across 4th-7th of October with the following disciplines taking place:
- Friday 4th October – Dressage
- Saturday 5th October – Show Thoroughbred & Eventing Dressage
- Sunday 6th October – Eventing Jumping & Cross-Country
- Monday 7th October – Jumping

Spectator entry is free each day!

There will also be free activities for the kids and a trader village open for shopping!

Last month here at SIEC we hosted the RDA NSW State Championship ran by Riding for the Disabled Association - NSW

Riding for the Disabled, which has just staged its NSW Championships, has been the launching pad for many of our international riders at the Paralympics, Virtus Equestrian and Special Olympics.

Only three weeks to go until the Australian Dressage Championships is held here!

This year’s event promises to be a spectacular showcase of talent, featuring competitions from Novice level to Grand Prix, including the ever-popular Freestyle to Music classes, Para Dressage, and Pony Championships.

Spectator entry is free across all four days!

The Local Sport Defibrillator Grant Program is now open!

The grant program is aimed at providing Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and associated equipment to NSW sport and recreation facilities and clubs. An AED is a device that is used in conjunction with Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and delivers a controlled shock to an individual experiencing cardiac arrest, increasing their chances of survival.

Grants of up to $3,000 are available to sporting and recreational organisations.

This Sunday we had the always amazing Sydney Koi Show. This year was the 46th Sydney Koi Show and we saw 546 Koi on display of 18 different varieties! The Sydney Koi Show also holds a variety of other fantastic small animal exhibitors and other unique traders, including: Bonsai, Reptiles, Orchids, Rabbits, Wood Turners, African love birds and Plants. We look forward to having it back here at SIEC next year! Australian Koi Association

Equestrian NSW - Duke4Sport Partnership

At the recent State Interschool Championships held here at SIEC, we talked to Equestrian NSW Acting CEO Vireena Peacock about the Duke4Sport partnership and how young people competing in equestrian events can make the most of their skills and experience through The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award - Australia 🙌

What a fantastic 2022!! We held 86 amazing events! Making up 184 days of competition! Doing our best to work with and around some hard weather conditions. With a great variety of: - Equestrian (including: Dressage, Jumping, Eventing, Para-Equestrian, Show Horse, Vaulting, Interschools and Working Equitation) - Fun Run - Foam Fest - School Cross Country Carnivals - Sydney Koi Show - Commercial Filming And beyond this 95 Tow-Ed Driver Education Courses! Thank you to all our fantastic event organisers for a great year! We love having you all here and are ready for a great 2023!!! Happy New Year 🥳

All ready!! A lovely sunny day here it’s been a busy morning with Dressage and Jumping underway and Cross Country just now kicking off! ☀️☀️

Loved having Vaulting NSW here over the weekend for there Summer Comp!! Congratulations to Steph Dore and Ginger Kennett for their qualification for the World Vaulting Championships 🥳 Looking forward to more vaulting to come this year. With both the NSW State Vaulting Championships and the National Vaulting Championships to be held here at SIEC this year.

Our cross country course has been looking loving and green! With our team putting in the final touches and filling the pond. All ready for this weekends Sydney 3DE clinic!
