Our Story
Here at Ourtribe Staffordshire Bull Terriers we started our venture with our blue babies Ace and Ally. We became registered breeders with them and had two litters. Since then we have done a lot of research and decided to change the direction in which we were headed. Although we were already striving to breed puppies as close to the breed standard as possible and attempting to improve our breeding each time, we decided we wanted to start fresh and breed only when we want a puppy to run on with for the show ring.
Since making this decision we reached out to a few breeders, some wanted nothing to do with us due to having and previously breeding blues, however there are some that have gone above and beyond to help us and still do help us to this day. We would like to thank Anthony McKee (Blupride Staffordshire Bull Terriers), Mel Watson (Bullyfeva Kennels), Kristy Roebig (Bxact Staffordshire Bull Terriers) and Debbie Edwards (Sookalott Staffordshire Bull Terriers). We cannot thank these guys enough for taking a chance on us and allowing us the opportunity we have been given.
Ace, may he rest in peace, was desexed and retired to be our forever loved pet, however unfortunately he was laid to rest in July 2018 and now looks over us from across the rainbow bridge. Our girl Ally is still with us and is living her days as a much loved pet here in our home.
In 2017 we took to the show ring with fire in our bellies and goals we wanted to achieve. Our girl Penny “Bxact Knock Knock Knock” was the first member of the show team and obtained enough points for her Australian Champion title at just 11 months of age. She is our little champion and is not just a show dog, but also a very much loved pet as well. We hope to breed some of our very own champions from her in the near future.
