SETTING UP OUR AQUA ONE NANOREEF 80 - Part One 🐠 🐟

We are super excited to set up our very own NanoReef 80, and we want to take you along the journey.

We have used CARIBSEA ARAG-ALIVE FIJI PINK SAND ! We added the sand (unwashed as per directions) and water at 4:30pm, tank was clearing by 9am the next morning and by 1pm the tank looks great ! 🤩

Next Step - Adding Carib Sea Life Rock! Stay tuned!

~ Long Weekend Camping Essentials with Nala ~

Nala, our super sassy Basenji, loved her first camping trip down the coast to Merry Beach, and she wants to share her MUST HAVES! 🚙🏖️🏕️

NALA’S CHECKLIST (as done by Nala herself)

🐶 My bed! (I need my cozy spot to rest after all the adventures)
🐶 Harness, lead, and name tag (a colour that obviously makes me stand out 💁‍♀️, plus the tag has our contact info in case I get too curious 👀)
🐶 Car hammock and Car seat attachment) easy to clean after my sandy and salty paws jump into the car, and keeps the back seat fur-free)
🐶 P**p bags (sometimes I just need to go, and Mum and Dad are going to have to pick it up… hehe)
🐶 Fresh water, food, and bowls (for obvious reasons… a girl gets hungry! 🤤, and staying hydrated is a must)
🐶 Favourite stuffed toy (I CAN NOT go anywhere without at least one of my toys to keep me company)
🐶 Favourite treat(s) (need I say more? They keep me happy and are great for training and rewards)
🐶 Towels (I get a bit salty and dirty, so Mum uses them to dry me off after a swim or a muddy walk)
🐶 Crate (to keep me safe while Mum and Dad are cooking, cleaning or at the showers, and it's my little sanctuary)

Extra Items for a Smooth Trip:
🐶 First aid kit for dogs (because you never know when I might get a scratch or need a bandage)
🐶 Insect repellent (specially made for pets to keep the bugs away)

🐶 Check which camping locations and beaches are open for dogs, and if there are any time frames for on and off-leash. Some places may have restrictions or require permits.
🐶 Please ensure that all flea and tick treatment is up to date.
