Renowned Sydney Dog Trainer Caroline Brown - the number one specialist in teaching easy to learn techniques via private training sessions for dogs of all shapes, sizes and age since 2008 Caroline left her life in the corporate world behind to follow her passion for animals by training dogs in the local area. Even in those very early days, looking after two dogs and one cat, her life felt exactly h

ow it should be. Never looking back and always eager to help out, Caroline was soon experiencing inner peace & happiness by assisting distraught owners in rehabilitating their dogs. Both dog & owner reaped the benefits of her perserverence, calm coaching skills & enthusiasm with her client base rapidly expanding via word of mouth. One by one, each pet Caroline worked with was transformed into the best version of itself; happy, healthy and free of the behavioural issues that had made its & its owners’ lives less than harmonious. With nearly 20 years of hands-on experience & 100% success rate especially with anti-social or difficult dogs. Caroline's dog coaching & on lead training business has grown by leaps & bounds now proudly listing as many as 60 dogs, 20 cats & 2 birds within her extended pack. Known as a market leader within her industry Caroline is often consulted for her expert advice at public events, invited to sit as a judge for local dog shows, to speak at & attend assorted media events. Caroline also has a very keen interest in animal welfare charities having closely worked with Monika's Doggie Rescue, Animal Welfare League of NSW & the Taronga Zoo Animal Sponsorship Program. Caroline lists her inspirations as β€˜Dog Whisperer’ Cesar Millan & her own grandfather; George Brown himself a Dog Trainer during 1930's. With some very exciting projects in the pipeline for 2022 Caroline's 'doggie' star is shining brighter than ever.

πŸ’•πŸΎ πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸΆπŸ•πŸ©πŸ• My 4 amigos show me their best sit, stay hold position before a well deserved rest or β€˜la siesta’ after a great training session on this day back in 2013 πŸ’•πŸ•πŸ˜˜ to achieve the β€˜sit’ position when training your puppy or doggie - please start from the β€˜stand’ position - once your doggie is standing - from underneath their chin slowly guide their snout upward so that their head tilts backwards (make sure when first learning that your hand moves slowly & sticks to their snout) and then your doggie will lower its back and sit down naturally - once you have practiced this a couple of times your pup will be getting used to the process you may then progress to holding the treat behind your back in one hand and using the open palm of your other hand to illustrate to your doggie the sit movement attaching the β€˜sit’ command at the same time - always ensuring that your pups entire body has sat down firmly and is not hovering just above the floor - only ever releasing the treat just underneath their chin whilst they remain in the β€˜sit’ position - lots of repetitions please - try a minimum of 500 preferably starting off in a quiet area or at home, progressing to outside in the garden or a park - you may then progress to the next step where you ask them to β€˜sit’ and prolong the reward - each time add a second or 2 on before you dispense their reward - this becomes the β€˜hold’ just as my in house doggie models Alfie, Stella, Malcom & Boots are displaying here βœ…βœ…βœ… please tag me with your progress or let me know if you have any questions darling friends πŸ’•πŸ• πŸ’•πŸΎπŸ’•πŸΎ

πŸ’•πŸΎπŸ’• such a lovely surprise as sweet little mini schnauzer pup; darling Bentley & I approached Darlinghurst we heard the joyous sounds of an old fashioned brass band playing in the distance and to our amazement on approach we discovered the Fire & Rescue NSW Band had set up on the concourse and were playing the cheeriest & most uplifting bright and happy sounding tunes πŸ₯πŸŽΊπŸ“―🎷🎡🎢πŸ₯ I took the opportunity to do an impromptu training session to desensitise Bentley to the amplified music 🎡 hands clapping and feet marching sounds by getting him to hold the sit stay position whilst I intermittently fed him a biscuit or 2 as the band performed right in front of us - using repetitions in no time my quick little learner was not fazed at all πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ•πŸ’•yay Bentley fab work little pup - you really worked very hard πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œβœ…βœ… darling friends don’t forget to communicate with your gorgeous doggies via the commands that they already know or teach them some new ones or please let me know if you need my help or if you have any questions πŸ’•πŸΎπŸ’•πŸΎ

Our Story

In 2008 following on from her 15 year career as a successful Advertising Industry Executive. Caroline left her life in the corporate world behind to follow her passion for animals by training dogs in the local area.

Even in those early days, looking after 2 dogs and 1 cat her life felt exactly how it should be. Never looking back and always eager to help out, Caroline was soon experiencing inner peace and happieness by assisting distraught owners in rehabilitating their dogs.

Both dog and owner reaped the benefits of her perserverance, calm coaching skills and enthusiasm with her client base rapidly expanding via word of mouth.

One by one each pet that Caroline worked with was transformed into the best version of itself, happy, healthy and free of the behavioural issues that had made its and its owners lives less than harmonious.
