💥 WOW! Well here's an update for you! 💥

🩺 FIVE dogs off to the vet tomorrow 🩺

❗️ Donations *URGENTLY* needed and most appreciated❗️

🥰 GENIE - final checkup of heart, swab and pathology of her ears. When I say final, well there's some news about Genie that's coming up after lockdown. (Genie is on hold)
👉 GENIE UPDATE - ear swabs have been sent to pathology to get to the bottom of things.

🥰 BEA BEA - ultrasound. Bea hasn't been herself for the last couple of days and saw our vet on Saturday. We already know she has an enlarged spleen and airway disease. Her vet wants to investigate further after palpating her tummy. (Bea is in Forever Care)
👉 BEA BEA UPDATE - she is now on Cardisure in addition to her Lasix and Aminyllin.

🥰 BONNIE - full checkup, comprehensive blood panel, heartworm test, big dental, lumpectomy of a mass on her hock and possible amputation of a badly broken tail. She's a top-to-toe job. (Bonnie is in Rehab)
👉 BONNIE UPDATE - All vetwork done. Slightly high liver enzymes. And due to welfare reasons her broken, bent, calcified tail was removed. She lost 12 teeth.

🥰 ANGUS - no sign of a typical ear infection but he squeals if you touch them and rubs his ears on his beds. Will need sedation to get near them! (Angus will be looking for a home)
👉 ANGUS UPDATE - infection found deep down. Angus is now on drops and is withdrawn from availability temporarily.

🥰 Brand new SOPHIE with a grade 4 heart murmur and enlarged liver. She's had a blood panel + dental and lost 12 teeth. She's going in for a meds review, second opinion and review of her xrays and existing file. Anything else that our vet decides she needs doing will be done. (Sophie has joined Forever Care)
👉 SOPHIE UPDATE - She will remain on current meds.

Who remembers the store when it was Champion Pets?
Lesley founded Champion Pets in 2005 and was there for 10 years serving the good people of Lane Cove and their pets.
You will still see Lesley around the shop mostly on Saturday’s.
Even when it was rebranded as Oliver Barkley Pet Supply by Jarred and Jack in 2015 and even in the four years that I have owned it - the store has been a big part of the community for over 16 years!
We will miss each and every one of you.
