The Blaxland-Glenbrook R.S.L. & Citizens Kennel & Training Club Inc was formed in 1962. The club prov We also have agility nights for fun and a change of pace.

This club provides obedience training while being socialised with other dogs and people for all dog breeds and ages. There are beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes available, as well as when required trials training. A well mannered and social dog is a joy to own and take out with you.

Ok - its time to return to class for 2025

Normal classes return on Monday 3 February at 7:00pm and membership renewals are due.

The beginners class will commence on Monday 10 February.

I'll see you then.

📣 Announcement 📣

Next Monday (9th) will be the last night of training for the year.

The club will be hosting a Christmas party which will begin at 7pm 🎄🎁🎅🏼 Doggie games, as well as drinks and pizza 🍕(human) will be provided.

We hope to see you all at the party but if not, the team wishes you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. 🥳🍾🎉

First night back for training in 2025 will be Feb 5th and Beginners will commence Feb 12th.

Hi all members,

Just a reminder that the Intermediate class will now commence at 7:00pm on Monday 18 November, now that the beginners class has concluded and congratulations for those who have graduated, hope to see you in intermediate 1.

The advance class will now commence at 7:30pm

Finally just a reminder that the clubs AGM will be held on Monday 25 Nov @ 7:30pm at the club house all current and financial members are welcomed.

Hi all members,
The club will be short a trainer for the next 4 weeks. Therefore, Caroline will be taking both the Beginners and Intermediate classes. To do this there will be change of time for the intermediate class. There is no change to the time for the beginners.
From next week 21 Oct to 11 Nov (inclusive) the Beginners class will run from 7:00pm to 7:30pm and the Intermediate class will commence at 7:30pm to 8:00pm.
The advance class can either join the intermediate class or commencing at class at 8:10pm to 8:40pm. I suggest that the advance class joins the intermediate class next week and then agree on the way forward as we know that some of you will not be in attendance over the next 4 weeks.

With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to two beloved members of our pack, instructor and committee member Dieter, and committee member Roger, as they embark upon new adventures beyond our dog club. Your dedication and expertise have been the backbone of our training family for years, leaving an indelible mark on every wagging tail and eager learner. Your presence will be deeply missed, but your legacy will live on in the countless furry friends and their owners that you have helped shape. Here's to the next chapter, filled with boundless health and happiness. We hope you will return occasionally to say hi 👋. Thank you for everything!

Intermediate 1 and Advanced going to Bunnings at 7:30pm. Dean will meet you. Could you please bring your $5 payment in Cash tonight if possible, thanks.

If you do not wish to go to Bunnings, Dean will be at the Paceway from 7:00pm-7:20pm for normal class.

Beginners as per normal.

Hi all members, hope 2024 has started well for you?

Just a reminder that regular classes will commence on Monday 29 January. Also membership renewal ($15) is due when you return.

Our new beginners class will commence the following week on Monday 5 February and spaces for this class are limited.

If you are hot, then your fur baby is too (more so due to all the doggie floof).

If you wouldn’t stay outside all day in 44 degree weather then why should your pup? 🐶🥵

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all having a nice break. As you all know we’re going to have a super hot day today and a very warm to hot week. 🥵

Just a friendly reminder that your fur babies can suffer from heat stroke/ heat exhaustion just like we can. So best place for your fur baby is inside in the air conditioning if possible with lots of cool clean water available 🧊. Or if they have to be outside, leave a shell kiddies pool full of water + lots of shade. ⛱️

Heat stroke can KILL. Know the signs!
Vet required immediately if:

🔥 Excessively heavy panting or drooling
🔥 Lethargy
🔥 Drowiness
🔥 Uncoordinated movements
🔥 A state of collapse
🔥 Vomiting

💥NO EXERCISE, unless late in a cooler evening or early morning 🎾

💥NEVER leave your pet in the vehicle, caravan or out building in the heat 🔥
