‼️UPDATE: BOTH DOGGIES ARE SAFE‼️

‼️🆘️PLEASE HELP US SAVE THESE DOGGIES! 🆘️‼️

Yes, we are FULL but how can we not try and help save these beautiful souls! We only have six kennels at our rescue property, and they are all taken, so that means to save more URGENT dogs we need HELP 🙏

They don't have names, but Impound #895 is a timid boy who needs extra TLC and an URGENT Foster Home ASAP so we can save him. He initially needs a home with no other pets or small children as we don't know anything about him.

Impound #907 we will have to board at private kennels which will cost us $140 a week until we can free up a kennel space at our rescue.

If you can help us save these two lives (yes there is a kill list and they will die tomorrow afternoon at close of business) if we don't save them 😭

Can you Foster? Need to live in the Greater Sydney Region so we can support you and your foster dog.

We also have to pay for desexing and vaccinations as the pound will not help with that either, but we are asked to take these dogs for them or they get killed! 😭

** UPDATE **
APOLLO IS SAFE WITH RESCUE HUB - FOSTER CARER STILL TO BE CONFIRMED!

‼️VERY URGENT!! PLEASE HELP ME! I AM RESCUE ONLY!!‼️

My name is Apollo and I'm an older boy at about 9 years old. I've been told I'm a beautiful friendly boy and I am very loved by the pound staff.

I have been ok with another male dog I met but I have not been tested in a while due to my health issues.

I had cancer previously that was treated however I am having recurrent nose bleeds and I require a CT scan and blood work totalling $1800-$1900 but unfortunately the Facility are unable to provide this for me. They have already done so much for me while I've been in their care and have been to the vets multiple times.

I need a Rescue Group to save me now! Rescue Hub could possibly help me but they need a very committed foster carer (Sydney area due to vet/specialist) for me and will need to Fundraise for my medical costs. I need someone who can look after me until my health issues are sorted out.

Can you look after me until I get better? Caring for me won't cost you anything as everything will be covered.

If Rescue Hub can find a committed foster carer then they could possibly save me.

PLEASE SHARE my post far and wide 🙏

Luv Apollo 💙

If you can help to look after me then please fill in the Foster form below ⬇️

I HAVE HAD A HEART OPERATION TO HELP PROLONG MY LIFE! 💙

Hello, it's little Boofa here! Some of you may not know my story but Rescue Hub saved me from the URGENT RESCUE ONLY list from the pound a few months ago. At the time it was thought I had a heart murmur but after lots of tests and scans, it was discovered I have a condition called Aortic Stenosis. This means my aortic valve in my heart is narrowed so my heart has to work harder to force blood through the valve and this extra work by my heart can have harmful effects leading to heart muscle failure and other complications.

My Rescue Hub family, and my beautiful foster mum & dad, could not sit back and not do anything to help prolong my life so it was decided for me to have a procedure called Balloon Valvuloplasty. This procedure involved me getting an incision in my neck and through the incision, a catheter was inserted into my blood vessels and guided into the right side of my heart to reach the pulmonary valve. Fluoroscopy (live x-ray) was used to perform an angiogram to evaluate my anatomy and then a balloon dilation catheter was guided across the valve. Once the balloon was in position at the level of the pulmonic valve, it was inflated and then removed. The goal was to use the balloon to open my heart valve so that it is able to open more freely and allow blood to flow into my lungs more easily.

I am now recovering in my foster home and being loved on by my wonderful foster mum and dad. They absolutely adore me and never want to let me go. They will also do anything to make sure I live as long as possible. I am now feeling so much better but my Rescue Hub family have been left with a BIG vet bill of $6210.00 which I am hoping some of our wonderful supporters can help me with. I really don't like to think they have been left this but I know they adore me and they said I am worth every single cent it cost.

PLEASE CAN YOU SPARE A FEW DOLLARS?

😥💔 SIX MONTHS IN A KENNEL & CHEVY ISN'T COPING!! 💔😥

Blacktown Pound volunteer photographer, Gemma India Photography has put out an URGENT special plea for this beautiful and deserving boy called Chevy.

NOTES FROM GEMMA:
"There was no point in persisting with my camera as as Chevy is too scared of it. Chevy does not present well in the kennel. He’s incredibly scared and anxious in it and he comes across as hyper and not someone you’d want to adopt. Please look past this. Out of the kennel, he’s amazing. A true sweetheart. Yes, he needs training. What poundy doesn’t? He snatches food and he pulls on the lead. I’d be happy to sponsor him for professional training if someone was to take a chance on him. Please share Chevy. He’s been in that kennel for 6 months and is simply not coping at all. He hurts himself in there because he’s terrified of those walls".

POUND STAFF NOTES:
"This boy is the best! He is so affectionate and calm outside of his kennel. He can get very distressed and reactive in his kennel. We want him to go to a home with an experienced owner and no other animals so he can be the centre of attention".

Emma's video of Chevy below and more photo's of Chevy posted in the comments ⬇️

Please contact the Blacktown City Animal Holding Facility below and make an appointment to meet Chevy. Contact Gemma India re sponorship for professional training to help Chevy settle into his new home.

Thinking of stars and remembering our darling Skylah who was in the same position many times.
Please help if you can

💔😥 I AM IN HOSPITAL AGAIN! CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME? 😥💔

It's Stars here again and I am not well. I was taken to the after hours emergency, at Nepean Animal Hospital, a few days ago as I was vomiting and couldn't get up - my glucose levels went really low and I was in a dangerous situation with my health.

I had only been in my new foster home a few days when I became unwell. Aunty Elaine, Rescue Hub Founder, raced down from her home in the Blue Mountains, to Tregear, to take me to the hospital.

I am still unstable and my glucose levels are still low so I'm back on intravenous fluids and I might have a UTI but am being tested for that. The lovely doctors and nurses have been looking after me really well here but I don't like hospitals at all - as you can tell by my face 😔

I feel bad that I now have another big vet bill which could be close to, or over $4,000, by the time I leave the hospital.

Can you please help me?
Can you please spare a few dollars to help my Rescue Hub family pay for my life-saving treatment?

I hope to better soon though and I'm trying my hardest to get better. I have fought really hard to overcome all my other previous medical problems and I promise I'll fight hard again this time 🙏

If you feel you can help me then please use the donation options below.

Thank you so much everyone
Luv Stars ❤

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
GOOD NEWS STARS IS CURRENTLY ON TRIAL, IN HER NEW FOSTER CARER’S HOME! THANK YOU DEAR LORNA !
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

** PLEASE READ: THIS IS AN ACTUAL LIFE OR DEATH SITUATION FOR OUR DEAR OLD STARS. NEW FOSTER HOME NEEDED IN THE SYDNEY METRO AREA **

Stars' current foster home is not suituable for her. She needs to leave her current foster home on Monday and we have no where for her to go 😥 Due to her diabetes treatment, her age and we think the start of doggie dementia, we will NOT put her in a kennel.

Our beautiful old girl has been through so much and everytime she has fought back like a true warrior - we can't let her go - we just can't! We have shed tears this afternoon over this predicament and we are desperate for your help.

Do you know anyone who lives in a quiet house, no kids, no other pets, someone who is home quite a bit? Someone who would love the company of an old, happy, affectionate doggie? Someone who can administer her diabetes medication?

Stars
Staffy X
Female
12 years old

Stars is asking for another chance! PLEASE HELP her! 🙏

It's Stars here!! I need a carer who can give me my insulin injections twice a day (the pen injection so really, really easy) for my diabetes and administer drops into my one eye 😉

I am a really good patient and I am used to having my treatments given. If you have had experience with diabetic pets before then you would be ideal but if not, it is very easy as it's a pen injection and you will receive full support from my Rescue Hub family.

I only need a short walk a day then I will sleep for the rest of the day. I need my meals and pen/injections at around 12 hour intervals. I am an easy dog to care for, please help me find a new foster home urgently 🙏

Everything will be supplied for me, you just have give me the love and care I need. If we can find a new foster home in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, Rescue Hub may be able to have a dog walker walk me every day for you.

CURRENT LOCATION: SYDNEY

❌ PLEASE NOTE: I am dog reactive so I need a foster home with NO OTHER PETS and I cannot be taken to dog parks ❌

I will need the following:
✅ willing to administer my treatment for diabetes
✅ a quiet home with no children
✅ a home with no other pets. Stars is almost deaf, so doesn’t bark much
✅ STARS will need a courtyard or balcony, some type of outside access.
✅ a home where someone is home some of the time
✅ a short little walk once a day
✅ must follow my current diet plan to support my diabetes so NO TREATS ARE ALLOWED unless approved before hand

Please fill in our Foster Form below if you can help me 🙏⬇️

🆘️❌ OPERATION ANNIE ❌🆘️

I ONLY HAVE 1 DAY LEFT!! 😥

*** FOSTER CARER MUST LIVE IN SYDNEY METROPOLITAN AREA NO OTHER PETS ***

It's Annie here and this is me practicing how to keep warm in preparation of going back to living in a cold kennel. A cold kennel is no place for a doggie like me with cancer 💔

I have not had a single suitable FOSTER application to save me from going back to living in a kennel, it's lovely there at the Rescue Hub Haven but I'm used to living inside now, it's getting cold and I am not going to understand why I am back there because I've been such a good girl 😥

I am only small are you sure you don't have room for me?

I promise I'll make you smile everyday 😁

If you are unable to foster me at this time then please SHARE 🙏🏻

Luv Annie xx

Here are some notes from Annie's current foster carer:

Annie, well first off she is so cute and adorable. She is very affectionate and will certainly end up being your shadow. She loves to cuddle. She is good at walking but can be reactive when seeing other dogs, being so small though, she is easy to control. When it’s time for bed she goes to sleep and sleeps all through the night. After a lot of training she does go to the toilet in the garden outside when you let her out.

She absolutely loves her toys and loves to fetch practically any toy you throw. She chews her toys but never has chewed or destroyed any furniture. She knows how to wait when it’s time to eat if you tell her to wait, she is very patient.

Did I mention she is cute? She is good meeting new people, can be a bit shy at first but warms up very quickly. Not sure how she is with kids.

She definitely needs some sort of garden with easy access so she can toilet outside. Also, someone who is home more often would be great.
Annie needs a home with NO OTHER PETS, cannot be taken into dog parks where there are alot of dogs, cannot be let off leash and children are unknown at this stage. Annie only weighs 15kg.

Annie does have a small Mast Cell Tumour on her leg which she is being treated for and all expenses will be paid. No other health issues have been noted.
