🐻No more applications for Thomas please. Karen is going through suitable enquires and a home visit has been arranged for Thomas on the weekend. Thomas's transition to his new home will be slow and steady.

🐻Thomas the Cavoodle is ready for his new home, read his profile carefully and only apply if you live in Sydney, as far down as Canberra or up to Newcastle. We are looking for a very special home for this gorgeous boy. He MUST have ANOTHER DOG in his new home.

🐻Thomas is a 9-month-old Cavoodle who came to us from a puppy farm a couple of months ago, unfortunately Thomas was not brought up in the best environment. Puppies should be nurtured and feel safe during the first couple of months of their lives – this is virtually impossible in large breeding facilities where puppies become anxious and lack confidence.

🐻Thomas was nervous when he arrived, but then he was introduced to his very kind foster carer Karen and her husband who are experienced with nervous puppies and know all the tricks to help him become more confident. He is coming along beautifully, he loves Karen, and her husband and sleeps cuddled up with them in their bed every night (that’s his first favourite thing in the world) Thomas is becoming more confident every day and is now a cheeky, playful pup. He walks beautifully on lead and loves going out for a walk with his foster Mum, he is an expert at the doggie door (needs one in his new home please) and is completely toilet trained when he has 24/7 access to the garden.

🐻Thomas is not going to suit apartment living because he does love doing zoomies around the garden whenever the mood takes him. He also enjoys finding the warm spots in the back garden snoozing away for hours. A home without young children as little kids do make him nervous with their loud noises and sudden movements. Gentle teenagers will be great company for Thomas, they can snuggle together and watch their favourite shows on TV. Another dog similar in size, age and activity level as Thomas will be great company for him. Thomas’s coat will grow and require grooming every 6-8 weeks, his foster carer has had him groomed and regularly brushes his coat to keep the knots away. Grooming can be expensive but is very necessary to keep this type of dog free from knots and comfortable.
