Good morning,

It’s been brought to my attention that some people didn’t receive our message about no longer being mobile messages were sent out over the Christmas break. We do apologise and not exactly sure what happening with the network. I also haven’t received some clients messages so please if I haven’t replied please send again.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, personal & health reasons I have made the heartbreaking decision to pull all my trailers off the road effectively starting the new year.
We will still be operating but out of a salon located in St Mary’s.
We do apologise as I know it is extremely short notice, this decision was not taken lightly but with everything that has been going on the past 12months with myself & Amy this is the only option that will help keep the business running.

All appointment schedules will remain the same unless you need to change day/time to suit you for travel. Please let us know if you need to know your next appointment to change or cancel.

Thank you for your understanding in this situation we do appreciate it.

NOTICE!!

Myself & Amy are asking for some patience & understanding over the next few months. As some maybe aware already that our mum is currently starting chemotherapy.

Some appointments we are already aware about and we will be rescheduling any pooches on those days but we have been notified that there can be appointments with short notice so if we require to reschedule we apologise in advance.
We will be letting you know over the next few days if any of your appointments have been changed.

Why do we not offer/advertise cheap washing & towel drying?

We don’t offer or promote towel drying because leaving your pooch wet/damp is not good for their skin health. It can open the door for skin irritations & infections such as hot spots/yeast & fungal infections. Being wet in colder or more humid months regularly your pooch can develop pneumonia, it can cause matting on long coated & double coated breeds, people don’t realise that the blow drying stage is the longest & most important stage of grooming. Plus what’s the point in washing them if they are only going to smell like a wet dog? Doesn’t matter how much cologne you use they’ll still have that doggy smell few days later once that cologne wears off.
We do understand it’d make it more affordable for some to have their beloved pets bathed, but if your pet is one that happens to develop a skin issue leaving you with a vet trip and few weeks of treatment is it saving money?. Sure it’d allow us to do more jobs a day, easier & less time for us right! Wrong, in the long run it makes our job longer & harder & for some breeds may result in a shave down.

Please understand that we are professional groomers with your pets interests at heart, your dogs health is what’s important to us, sure we have a handful of clients that can not be blow dried but trust me, we’ve tried every way possible to safely attempt in getting them as dry as possible.

Our prices reflect the fact that we are a professional mobile service that comes to your door, the quality of our work & the time spent. So please before you question why bob up the road is only charging $20 and we are charging our prices think about who’s actually got your pets interests at heart.

So here we have Ranger demonstrating a hand deshed that took me 10minutes. Although he hadn’t had his bath a blow out and final deshed in the video I wanted to show you guys who own husky’s or any double coated breeds that 5-10mintues can remove a lot of hair and can help minimise the amount of hair they drop around your houses and it also helps keep a beautiful strong coat and stops it from matting or compacting up so tight that clipping is the only option to fix that.
