Top tips to keep your pets safe this Easter:
- Chocolate is delicious, but is poisonous for dogs and cats! If you’re having an easter egg hunt, consider using plastic eggs for the hunt. If you are using chocolate eggs, make sure you count how many are hidden so they can be all accounted for before you let your dog back out because they will find them!
- Hot cross buns contain sultanas which are also poisonous to dogs! We don’t know the exact reason some dogs become poisoned by grapes or dried grapes such as sultanas and raisins, nor how many they need to eat to become poisoned. We recommend not letting them eat any to be on the safe side.
Importantly there is always help available for you and your pets should you need it.
