We're so excited to announce we have discovered a new species of miniature wombat. Growing up to 15 centimetres in length, the newly described Vombatus iocus, or teacup wombat, is endemic to Alpo Floris National Park in Tasmania.
We're looking forward to learning more about this adorable little species that eats, frolics and hides among the park's famous buttongrass.

Great information
Hydrogen supplementation decreases oxidative stress and inflammation. Inflammation causes a redirection of nutrients from accretion in meat, milk and wool towards liver anabolism and thus represents a non-negligible economic cost. It is expected that hydrogen supplementation, through drinking water for example, will improve meat, milk and wool production potential.

The Beaches Market will cease trading at Pittwater Rugby Park on Friday 29th July.
This is a difficult post to write, which we have procrastinated about for the last 2 weeks (house is clean as a resultđ) and writing this just makes it all seem so much more final.. Apologises to those that are just finding out about this.
Itâs been an amazing 11+ years! We would like to thank Stallholders, Customers, Staff, Family and all the others that have supported us (Linda, Allison, Donnah, Warringah Rats to name a few) and helped create such a beautiful Market and an awesome place to shop. We couldnât have done it without you all.
There have been many upâs and a few downâs and some definite tough times but with all honesty, we can say that we have loved every moment and glad that so many appreciate and love the market too. We love that the market become a family for so many people. We watched kids be born and grow-up, many small businesses start, small businesses become big business, droughts, fires, floods, covid but most of all we watched the market became great, many told us at Friday's Market: âThe Best in Sydneyâ.
The reason we will cease trading was not our decision. This is due to Northern Beaches Council putting out a tender for a market at the North Narrabeen Reserve and awarding it to another company. A market will continue, it won't be organised by our company 'The Beaches Market'.
We hope to see you at our last 2 The Beaches Market which are 22nd July & 29th July. We hope to have a celebration of sorts, weather permitting...
Please stay in touch & give us a Follow to keep up to-date with what we are doing because as they say âWhen one door closes another door opensâ
Thanks for reading đ

Go the Dutch farmers!
THE WORLDWIDE ASSAULT ON TRADITIONAL FARMING AND AGRICULTURE HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN!
I hope all Queensland farmers are taking note of what is going on in The Netherlands right now.
For days there has been a complete mainstream media blackout on the story, but finally news of the extraordinary revolt by Dutch farmers over the countryâs new âNet Zeroâ farming laws emerged yesterday.
The new regulations aims at slashing nitrogen oxide emissions 50 to 95 percent, depending on the province, by 2030.
To comply with the new limits, Dutch farmers will be forced to cull (kill) 30 per cent of their livestock.
An estimated 5,000 farms will be wiped out immediately, especially those near Hollandâs âprotected areasâ, where the levels have been reduced a staggering 95 percent.
âThe honest message ⌠is that not all farmers can continue their business,â the Dutch Government said smugly when announcing the new laws.
This is beyond stupidity.
The idea that Dutch farmers are producing so much nitrogen, a gas that has NO EFFECT on global climate, that a third of the countryâs farms must be shut down is absolutely insane.
So insane, in fact, that fifty thousand tractor-driving, furious Dutch farmers have brought the country to its knees over it.
Itâs now impossible to cross the border with Germany because farmers, truckers and other allied workers have blocked all the highways with tractors, trucks, mounds of manure and hay bales.
Giant tractor chains, meanwhile, are blocking access to the countryâs 20 food distribution centres, while fishermen, sympathetic to the protest, have blocked most of its ports.
The Dutch media are of course trying to paint the farmers as âfar right-wing extremistsâ and âdomestic terroristsâ, but so far their words are falling on deaf ears.
The Dutch people are backing the farmers and their protest to the hilt!
The farmers say they have blocked highways, ports and supermarket distribution centres, to make the point that without farmers, no one eats.
They arenât kidding either.
The Netherlands is the worldâs second biggest agricultural exporter in the world and the largest meat exporter in Europe.
That means ALL of Europe will suffer. Food shortages alone will be crippling.
Any Australian who thinks this doesnât affect them are in for a shock when similar measures are imposed here â and believe me, they will be!
Too many people have allowed their heads to be filled with green fairy tales when it comes to this âtransitionâ to ânet zeroâ.
Most have no idea of the enormous costs and pain involved.
At a bare minimum, it is going to mean less farms, less livestock and a lot less food!
The plan looks to be 100 bio-hubs to come to Queensland?
Any takers?
