The Dog Aging Project study with over 21,000 dogs explored how a dog's social environment, especially companionship from other dogs, impacts its health and longevity, considering various socioeconomic factors. 🐶

The findings, published in the Journal of Animal Health, revealed that dogs living with canine companions experienced better health outcomes compared to those without such companionship. ☺🐾

Lead researcher Brianah McCoy highlighted the significance of social support for dogs, pointing out that having a companion notably affected their well-being. According to the study, the influence of social relationships on health was five times more potent than that of financial or household difficulties.☺️🐶
