Rescue Hub, based in Western Sydney, Australia, is solely run by a group of like-minded, dedicated and compassionate volunteers who save the lives of dogs from the pound who are on death row, the dogs that no one else wants due to medical and health issues, or behavioural issues. Through various fund-raising e

vents we raise money to help critical dogs in need with vet work, medical needs and training/rehabilitation to help them find their forever homes. Our Fundraising funds also help the dogs that are currently in our care who are also waiting for their forever homes. Rescue Hub is a Non Profit Organisation and a Registered Charity with donations of $2 or more tax deductible. ❌❌ URGENT home needed for Bailey ❌❌

We posted Bailey for the first time 2 days ago & sadly she did not receive any applications ☹️

Unfortunately she must leave her current foster home & has nowhere to go‼️‼️‼️

Our kennels are over capacity and we are left trying to help this poor girl after she was placed in an inappropriate home by a member of the public.

How many times must poor Bailey be let down? 😢

This is Bailey’s sad life so far:
🏡 Adopted
😡 Sold on gumtree & neglected
🤗 saved by a kind lady but she had two dogs of her own so could not care for her long term. She slept on her verandah with Bailey to keep her safe
☹️ A member of the public got involved & arranged a foster carer without meeting Bailey or even knowing anything about her
😢 Bailey went into foster care & the foster carer has advised she must go!
Whilst the foster carer was trying to help, she feels her home is not the right fit for Bailey.
🥹 Bailey is now left with NOWHERE TO GO!

We are so devastated for this beautiful girl 💔 She is only one and has been in 4 homes already 😢 Hopefully her 5th will be her final and forever home 🤞🏡

Bailey is just a puppy! 🐶

Unfortunately with this much instability, Bailey has lacked safety, security, guidance and someone to love her. She is confused and has not had any training or clear direction in her past.

Despite this, she is incredibly loving and craves affection. She loves being close to humans. She is playful, intelligent, and full of life 🥰

She is however just a puppy and she needs a calm, secure home where she can build trust and receive appropriate training and guidance. She will need exercise and mental stimulation and someone dedicated to ensuring she is the best dog she can be 🤗

She jumps, she nips, she chews, she’s cheeky, and she is excitable. But thats what puppies do! 🥰

Bailey needs someone willing to give her time to learn. She has never had that consistency ☹️

🐾 Cyrus is still waiting for his forever home. He’s been through more than most and still finds joy in life.
Cyrus was found roaming the streets dangerously underweight with a badly broken and dislocated hind leg.
Cyrus narrowly avoided losing his leg and made a full recovery, thanks to support from Penrith City Council, the care from our amazing vets and BMACC team.
Today, he’s healthy, strong, and eager to begin the next chapter of his life.
Despite his tough past, he’s remained cheerful, affectionate, and the best boy! 💖
Cyrus is a 4-year-old gorgeous, goofy Staffy with so much love to give. He’s full of energy, adores his tennis ball, and lights up around people. He’s smart, affectionate, and so ready for a fresh start.

😢How has this precious girl NOT found a home😢

Luna is one of our Assisted Adoption dogs 🐶
This means that she is still living with her current owners while we help search for her a new suitable home safely.

Luna did have a possible new home but this has sadly fallen through ☹️☹️☹️☹️

Luna is a super sweet gorgeous girl 🩷 Just look at that huge smile! 😊 She loves the outdoors, whether it’s a walk, playing with a ball 🥎 playing tug of war or having a swim in the pool 💦

She is super cute and can be shy at first, but once she is comfortable and warms up to you, she absolutely adores spending time with her humans 🥰

Luna can be left alone while you head to work for the day as long as her new family are committed to creating a regular routine where she receives exercise and mental stimulation.

Luna has not had much socialisation with other dogs. She is currently living with another dog, however they are mostly kept in seperate spaces as Luna can very excitable and boisterous at times.

This gorgeous girl is in need of a new home. A home that can offer her the love, stability, stimulation and exercise she deserves 💖

‼️Odin will LOSE HIS LIFE on the 30th June‼️

❌ Due Monday 30th June 2025 ❌

😢 Odin is currently in a NSW Pound 😢

We are over capacity at our kennels and sadly do not have room for this precious boy 😢

If you have room in your home and your heart to adopt Odin and you meet the criteria please complete an application 🙏

❌The shelter is VERY concerned about his welfare in this environment ❌

Odin was DUMPED at the shelter by his previous owner by being tied to the fence and left unattended 😡

He was extremely fearful and aggressive on approach when left tied to the fence. This is to be expected of a frightened and anxious dog that has been abandoned in an unfamiliar place and his owner just walking away 😢

After about 5 days and having had time to decompress, Odin is turning into a relaxed and happy boy 😊 He is now showing little reactivity to staff and whilst initially reacts to new people, he relaxes quite quickly.

Typically intelligent of his breed, Odin responds well to clear firm verbal directions and loves to play ball in the yard 🥎 It appears he has not had this luxury his entire life so is learning the ropes of how to play!

Odin would do well with some one-on-one training and attention as he is just learning that the world can be a happy place.

We have received an overwhelming number of adoption and foster applications for dogs that we have recently posted 🧡

This is of course wonderful news for some of the precious dogs 😊

We are a very small team of volunteers and wish to advise that we will be in contact with all applicants as soon as we possibly can be and look forward to speaking with you.

🚨🚨Urgent home needed for Bailey 🚨🚨

🩷 Can you give this gorgeous girl a home? 🩷

Precious Bailey has sadly not had the best start to life ☹️ She was in a home, the owner then sold her on gumtree to someone who completely neglected her 😡 A member of the public saw this and managed to persuade the owner to allow her to find Bailey a new home, and took her into hers. Bailey then went into foster care under the supervision of Rescue Hub but sadly now needs another home as her foster carer can no longer care for her 😢

We are beyond devastated for this beautiful girl 😭 That will be 4 homes she has already been in, in her short life. She is only one year old 🥺 Hopefully her 5th will be her final and forever home 🤞🏡

🥰 Bailey is so sweet, and just stuning!! 🥰

She went into care scared, confused, and has clearly had little stability or kindness in her past. Despite everything, she is incredibly loving and craves human affection. She bonds deeply with her people and loves being close to them, she will happily be your shadow once she feels safe 🤗

Barry the gorgeous little Bulldog is a bundle of doggie fun 🐾 He thrives on cuddles and back rubs 🤗 He has lived with children and is very social. He loves human affection and company. 🐾 🚨VOLUNTEERS URGENTLY NEEDED🚨 🐾

The crisis with dogs needing homes just continues to get worse 😢 Sadly, we just can’t save as many dogs as we’d like to, if we do not have enough volunteers to care for them.

If you want to see more dogs saved but you aren’t in a position to adopt or foster, or donate as much as you would like to, join the Rescue Hub volunteer team! This goes a long way to assist us in our mission to rescue as many dogs as we can 👍

Do you have a couple of hours spare a week, or fortnight? Why not try volunteering with us! 🙂

We need regular, reliable and committed, volunteers Monday to Sunday to fill kennel roster shifts. The shifts are approximately 3 hours long & we ask that you make a weekly or fortnightly commitment to ensure consistency for the roster and our precious animals.

• Morning Shift is approximately 9 am start
• Afternoon Shift is approximately 3 pm start

If you love dogs (we also have two cats, and three goats 😊) as much as we do, and would love to volunteer, then please read the requirements below ⬇️

✅️ Must commit to one shift per week or fortnight, but this does not have to be the same day each week
✅️ Must love all animals
✅️ Be able to prepare food for animals
✅ Be physically able & confident to handle and walk medium to large dogs🐕
✅ Be willing to scoop up dog and cat p**p, and clean kennels 💩
✅ Be able to work in all weather conditions- heat, rain, wind and cold weather 🌞⛈❄
✅ Be able to work as part of a strong, committed and passionate team 👊
✅ Not be worried about getting dirty, getting fur on you or getting dog slobber on you 😀
✅ Be honest, caring, compassionate, and have our doggies as your #1 priority for applying

Pyro is one of our Assisted Adoption dogs. This means that he is still under the care of his owner but due to changed unforeseen circumstances we are assisting in finding him a suitable new home safely.

Pyro is such a beautiful, sweet boy! 💙 He is the lovable energetic dog of your dreams! 😊

He loves his early morning cuddles, afternoon sunbathing, and afternoon swims - especially with his French Bulldog friend! Despite his size, Pyro considers himself a lapdog and thoroughly enjoys receiving affection. He greets everyone he meets with warmth 🤗

Pyro enjoys activities such as playtime with toys, enjoyable rounds of tug of war, and basking in the sun ☀️ He knows basic commands like "sit" and "lay down."

Untested with children, cats, and isn't a big fan of cows 🐄

STORMI HAS BEEN ADOPTED 🥳

Stormi had been graciously cared for temporarily by a lovely family after needing to leave DV situation. She was very timid and the carer worked to improve some of the issues and did the best they could but unfortunately due to separation anxiety and other pets in the household she couldn’t stay there! 🥺

We are so happy to announce that she has now been adopted and is doing very well. 🥹💕

Thank you to everyone who shared her posts, thank you to the wonderful family who cared for her whilst she waited for her new home and thank you to the wonderful lady who adopted her and is helping her thrive 🙏🙏🙏

Some words from her new owner:
As soon as I saw Stormis profile, I was actually emotional and knew I wanted to bring her here and give her a forever home. I take her for regular walks to the many parks and beaches close by. She loves getting in the car and going for drives and playing chases in the backyard or enjoying the sun rays on the back deck. She is very chill dog and true to her staffy nature, loves lots if affection and people, something she is never short of, with friends and family visiting often bringing her toys and treats too.
