😢 😢 ❌ Over 365 days waiting! ❌ 😢 😢

Hello everyone, I’m Pace. I’m starting to think I’m going to be spending another Christmas without a family and home of my own 🥺 Will you help me find a home for Christmas?🎄

I turned 5 earlier in the year, and I’m a Doberman x Kelpie. Humans tell me I’m a stunning looking boy 🥰 I’m crate and house trained and a volunteer favourite, even if I do say so myself 😜

I’ve been at the rescue a long time now. Everyone here loves me, but it’s not the same as having my very own humans and home ☹️

I lived in a home once with my foster family and it was the best! 😊 I got to sleep on my foster dad’s bed, I’d go for walks with him, I had his company when I was scared, I had my own back yard, and I just loved being part of the family. I really want to have a home again.

The volunteers tell me I’m a sensitive soul. I love you humans and I’m very loyal ❤️ I like it when I have routine and consistency, it makes me feel safe and secure, and when I am with someone who is confident and gives me clear direction I can do anything!

I used to get a bit reactive to other dogs on my walks if I saw them, but I’ve been working so hard with my trainer, that they don’t even bother me anymore 👍

Everyone tells me I’m intelligent, gorgeous, loving and loyal, and sometimes even funny 🤣 I can be a bit of a character at times, especially when playing with my toys. It seems to make people smile watching me 😊

I don’t need much, just a back yard to run around in and a family that’s willing to give me love, time, structure and most of all, a chance! 🙏 I could even live with another dog if you have one, but I’d just have to meet any potential fur siblings first to make sure we are a good match 🐕

I’d love to be opening my presents this year, and maybe even sharing a bit of Christmas dinner 🥘 😋 in a home of my own.

❌Chanel is URGENT, URGENT, URGENT ❌

She has been in a NSW Pound since June 😢

We just do not have space at our kennels & this gorgeous girl needs a home now! She is starting to struggle in the kennel environment ☹️

❌The shelter is VERY concerned about her welfare ❌

Chanel is a very affectionate girl, who is quite excitable. Just a pup, she can be nippy and jumpy, and these behaviours have recently started to show due to her increased stress. which is likely due to the environment. This poor girl has been in the pound since June! 23.5hrs a day in a kennel for over 180 days!!

Chanel will need continued training but is very food motivated and eager to please. She seems to love men over women but is very friendly with everyone. Look at her adorable face just pleading for someone to take her home. Such a gorgeous girl 🤗

Just a pup, she needs a home that can provide her with love, care, commitment, and ongoing training ❤️

🌹🐾💕Remember precious Rosie? 💕🐾🌹

Rosie was adopted earlier in the year by her wonderful mum Julie who was determined to adopt her from the time she was seen posted by another rescue that were going to have her put to sleep 🥺

Rosie made her way to Rescue Hub from Victoria and melted everyone’s hearts 🥰 She is now called Maggie May 🩷 And she has the most amazing mum, life and fur siblings. She is so spoilt and is just adored by everyone who meets her.

Maggie May’s story touched the hearts of the dog loving community and people often ask how she is doing 🤗 We can very proudly say, she has the best life and home, and that her life was one thousand percent worth saving!

Her wiggle bum and helicopter tail never stop, when she’s not lounging around on one of the many beds and chairs she has to choose from, and she’s so happy, and very much loved by her whole family ❤️

We love you Maggie May 💕

💙 Odi is SAFE but NOW needs a home 💙

Odi was just hours away from being put to sleep ☹️ The dog loving community including many of our dedicated followers stepped up to help save him 🙏 Thank you 🧡🐾

We now need YOUR HELP to find him his (this time) forever home! 🏡 He’s just lost everything and everyone he knows ☹️ Let’s help him rebuild his world, hopes and dreams.

He is currently at Bear the Dog Behaviourist training facility and is already showing what an amazing boy he is 🤩

Odi is a big softie with an even bigger heart ❤️ At home, he’s a man of simple pleasures, he’s happy to snooze the day away, lean in for pats and cuddles, and be a loyal, loving companion 🥰 He thrives on routine and predictability and will bond deeply with his people, making him a pleasure to live with.

Odi can find the outside world overwhelming sometimes 😩 He can be reactive when seeing other dogs but this is being worked on whilst he is in training. He was also involved in a resource guarding incident with another dog but it is unclear who was the instigator in the event.

Odi is best suited as the only pet in the household. He will flourish in a calm, adult-only home without young children. A home where he has a calm environment with structure and routine, and a secure yard.

Sonny is in a NSW pound 😢 Sadly we do not have space at our kennels & this adorable boy needs a home now!

❌The shelter is VERY concerned about his welfare in this environment ❌ As a puppy, he is becoming frustrated being kept in a kennel 😣

Sonny is an adorable and very sweet boy who likes affection, but also appreciates someone who can respect his space as he has an independent streak. As puppies can be, Sonny is at times a little jumpy and nippy when excited, but is happy to just lay down near you most of the time 🥰

Sonny will need a family who are loving and caring and willing to continue his puppy training. A home with a yard that he can run around and explore would be ideal.

It’s so important in the hot weather to look after our pets. They experience the heat more than humans so let’s keep them safe this summer 🌞

Always:
🌳 Provide shade and water
🆒 Create a cool environment if you can
🐕 Cool your dog down externally
🥶 Offer frozen treats and adjust activities &
⚠️ Avoid dangerous situations like walking on hot surfaces and walking in extreme heat.

💙Gorgeous Greyson is still looking for a home💙

Greyson is not in our care, he is currently living with his family whilst we assist in finding him a new home safely.

Greyson is an adorable, lovable, fun, and cheeky boy who loves car rides and knows how to enjoy the best of both worlds, relaxed days on the lounge with human company, as well as his playtime 😊

He can be a little bit excited when first meeting new people, but he settles well once he's comfortable. He’s not suited to a home with cats, but could potentially live with another doggy friend given slow introductions. 🐕

Greyson will need a family who will include him in activities and give him time, support and space to adjust to his new home.

🎉 Update: Odi is safe and will be going to training at Bear the dog behaviouraist training facility in East Kurrajong. This training may take some time for Odi but we are hopeful that we will be searching for a new home for Odi very soon 😊

❌Odi is booked for euthanasia tomorrow Wednesday 26th November ❌

Odi is not in our care but we believe every dog deserves a chance. We are over capacity at the rescue and with dogs in vets and boarding, we do not have capacity to take him in.

🔴 UPDATE 🔴 As full as we are, we are not going to let Odi die. This morning we are trying to secure a spot with Bear the Dog Behaviouraist for Odi 🤞 If the funds can be raised we will support Odi to find a new forever home.

If anyone is interested in giving Odi a wonderful new home after his training please reach out to us. He is a beautiful boy 💙

Cat’s mum adopted Odi about 1.5 years ago. It's believed he's currently around 4 years old and had been living in shelters all his life. He was on medication for anxiety and was meant to be weened off it once adopted. Unfortunately, this hasn't been possible and he's still on medication despite ongoing training 💊

Odi has recently had a resource guarding incident which caused a fight and injuries to her mother’s partner's dog, which has now happened more than once.

No shelters (including the one he was adopted from) have capacity to take him on 😢

Board & Train programs with the view to rehome are incredibly expensive, especially for a pensioner, so Cat’s mum has had to look into the impossible decision of behavioural euthanasia ☹️

It's absolutely heartbreaking to think that this sweet and simply misunderstood dog may now lose his life 💔

Cat is desperately trying to save her beautiful fur brother by raising the funds to send him to a training facility that does not believe in euthanasia 🙏 The quote for this is $4800 😔

💔 😢 Flint is STILL waiting 😢💔

This gorgeous little man is back at the rescue after a short time in foster care, and is looking for his forever home!🥹

Flint is an adorable boy inside and out. He is just so cute when he looks up at you with those big eyes! 🥰 He is just a puppy and most content being around humans. He will happily follow you around all day or sit playing with his toys next to you.

He loves going for his walks, and walks very well on the lead. He likes big hugs, and squeaky and soft toys 🧸 He is eager to learn, and the key to his heart is definitely food & treats! 😋 He cannot get enough!

He is still just a puppy and can be excitable and anxious at times, looking for, and needing reassurance and clear and consistent direction when he is jumpy and excited. He is already mastering simple commands though and can sit, and is learning to shake 🤝 He is a bright boy.

He will need a committed and caring experienced owner that can give him a home with love, dedication to his ongoing training, and routine and structure 😊 He will need a yard to run around in and explore and a family that will include him in activities.
