🚨 Wet Weather Warning! 🚨

🐾 Never leave your pets outside unattended. The wet and cold environment can be harmful, leading to hypothermia or other health issues.

🐾 Always dry your pets off thoroughly after they have been outside. This helps to prevent skin conditions that can arise from prolonged exposure to moisture.

🐾 Be mindful of your pet’s paws. Wet weather can soften paw pads, making them susceptible to injuries. Make sure to clean and check their paws regularly.

🐾 Avoid walking near bodies of water that could potentially overflow. Not all pets are strong swimmers, and even those who are can struggle in fast-moving floodwaters.

🐾 Make sure your pet has a comfortable, dry spot to sleep. This can greatly help in preventing colds and other weather-related sicknesses.

🐾 Keep them on a leash during walks. Scents can be washed away in heavy rain, making it difficult for lost pets to find their way back home.

Remember, our pets rely on us to keep them safe in all types of weather conditions.

I’m hoping there is a policy of “If it fits it flys” so I can attempt to put Carlos - 33kg in a carrier 😂 It not fair that it applies to small dogs only but hopefully that all changes. Small cats and dogs will be allowed on specific domestic flights with the service expected to launch within the next 12 months, subject to regulatory approval.

The proposed changes will allow pets onboard a limited number of designated rows and they will need to remain in a Virgin-approved pet carrier for the whole flight

Places we visited

1. Raw and wild market cafe. It’s dog friendly outside and entry is via the carpark at the back. They serve doggie organic beef pasta and puppacinos
1. Artemis wines - wine tasting and Woodfired pizza on weekends with a beautiful outdoor setting
2. Centennial Vineyards - another beautiful winery to visit serving food and drink
3. Cherry Tree walk - 1km flat walking track around Bowral thats dog friendly 🐶
