If you intend to compete at or visit the Allora Show on the 9th & 10th of February and do not want to stay in the hurly-burly of the showgrounds, consider Highborne Farm. The farm offers powered and unpowered camping sites, shower and toilet facilities, a wash-down area, various size safe yards, and a 60 x 40 sand arena for training. Show jump equipment is available. The farm is about 10 km from Allora on a bitumen road and the accommodation would also suit those attending the Clifton show which is also 10 km away in a different direction. Go to highbornefarm.com to see the facilities available and to book

With the close of entries for the WHT Sustainable ODE looming on Monday 13th November and currently only 45 entries posted by Saturday morning 11th November, the committee of WHT will have to decide, following the close of entries, whether to run the event. The club will need to have between 80 and 100 entries to break even financially. To keep faith with our valued members and riders the club will be prepared to run the event should this number be reached. Further, to encourage riders to enter as soon as possible, the club is prepared to guarantee a FULL refund of all entry fees should the club determine that the event is not viable financially. If you intend to enter the event, please do so now in the knowledge that you will not lose any money should the event have to be canceled. The club remains very keen to run the event and provide a great experience for competitors and spectators alike.
