Missy is a 12-month-old female Bull Arab X. She is a wonderful mix of sweetness and playful energy, whilst also being content to just hang out with her humans in the comfort of air con and blankets.

Missy is a very outgoing girl, with lots of love to share. Being young, she still has lots of puppy energy to burn and will thrive with lots of stimulation, ongoing positive re-enforcement training and exposure to all of the fun thing’s life has to offer. Missy is a vibrant girl and is looking for a home in which she can be your ultimate adventure buddy and be one the family!

What an absolute Stella Day. A Gala Day for Dogs was so much fun and we got to meet so many amazing pooches and their families.
We were excited to catch up with some of our ex Paws for Life Animal Shelter and Boarding Kennels pups with their forever families which was a highlight.

I want to take this opportunity to thank my amazing Companion Animal Team for their efforts today. Steph, Sophie, Kerry and Laura you are incredible and I cannot thank you enough.

We can't wait for the next Gala Day for Dogs in 2025.

A Gala Day for Dogs is back!! 🐶😍

Join us this Sunday, 27 October from 9am till 1pm at Bicentennial Park for a morning of competition, socialising, fun and a little bit of shopping thrown in for good measure. 🛍️

There are many dog themed stalls with everything from toys and treats to skincare, as well as local services and organisations available to chat to for advice. It's not all for the dogs though, with food and attractions for the whole family!

Animal Welfare League will be running a BBQ and there will be a toy drive for Paws for Life Animal Shelter and Boarding Kennels to help entertain and provide enrichment for pooches waiting for their fur-ever homes!

Introducing Smokey!

Smokey is an almost 10-year-old Mixed Breed male. Don’t let his age fool you though – he has plenty of life left and is a very sweet companion.

Smokey is a very relaxed dude who loves to lounge around in the sun and hang out with his people. He can be a little indifferent at first, quietly observing, but he is just very chill, unbothered and relaxed. He is good with adults, older children and other dogs. He is also extremely tidy in his yard and kennel and enjoys soft beds and blankets.

Smokey’s ideal home is one that can provide daily walks for exploration and a home that he can be included in daily life. He is very adaptable and content and is simply a pleasure to have around. He enjoys going on outings and drives but is also content to laze around at home in the sun and watch the world go by.

Smokey’s age makes him suitable for almost anyone, whether you are retired, work from home or simply want constant fuss free companionship. Smokey is well and truly ready for his retirement home, just waiting to find someone to love.

For those with fur family already, Smokey will require a meet and greet to ensure everyone enjoys each other’s company.

This boy does require a secure yard with 6-foot fencing as he has been known to have a wandering lifestyle previously and enjoys the indoors life.

Smokey does have a lump on his neck from a home-job de-barking obtained many years ago which does not affect him in any way.

Herbie is a sweet natured male 14-month-old Dachshund.

Herbie’s endearing nature makes him the perfect companion for someone looking to add a touch of loyalty and love to their daily life. Being young still, he will thrive in an environment where he has room to run around and explore, daily enrichment (or shoes will become a casualty!) and someone that can continue his exposure and training as he matures.

Herbie is incredibly adaptable and content, whether he is lounging around and napping while you are busy after a good play or joining you for a good walk and exploration. He is a typical dachshund who likes to know everything going on and as far as he is concerned – personal space includes him!

Two very BIG cheers for Olive and Popeye and their adoption day!! 🎉

After 98 days in care with us, this very special iconic duo has found the perfect home – TOGETHER! 🥰

It takes a very special person to adopt a dog, and an even more special person to find room in their heart to adopt a bonded pair. This special person is Jason. 🐕🐕

It was very much love at first sight, and as you can see Olive adores him and Popeye is simply saying “let’s go dad!”. 😀

She's got it! Yeah baby, she's got it! Venus has found her forever home where she won the heart over of the Morgan's who came up from the coast to come and meet her! Just like the infamous goddess of love, she won them over with ease with her smiling face and all-around ecstatic personality! With some butt wiggles thrown in for that doggie twist on things.

We hope you have an amazing new life with your new family Venus! We can't wait to hear updates on your new adventures down by the beach! Don't forget to send us a postcard! ☀️

Our pups at Paws for Life Animal Shelter and Boarding Kennels and Tamworth Regional Council Pound received yummy treats today for World Animal Day.
The wonderful Oakwood Centre Tamworth pulled out their aprons and made dog treats. Our pups were super excited and not one crumb was left with many demanding seconds.

Greetings! My name is Lexi - I am a 3-year-old Kelpie x Koolie looking for my new Bestie!

I am a sweet girl, who, because of my working breed mixture, require a home where I will have the exercise and stimulations I need. I love to run, play and be with my people. I seem to be unfazed by other fur companions, however a meet and greet is required if you have other animals in your household.

I am a very inquisitive lass who can be a little indifferent at first however once I know you are friendly, I will love you like a lap dog. I just love to be loved!

Howdy y’all, Tucker’s the name!

I’m a rootin' tootin' American Staffy x Cattle Dog who’s just turned 2 years old!

Word on the street is that I’ve been compared to a good ol' wombat! Could it be due to my colouring perhaps? I think it’s mostly cause I’m an absolute barrel who loves to play and just be with you! I’m also a lot cuddlier than a wombat anyway!

I also love spending my days in this bright sunshine, working on my tan and just enjoying the world around me. You’ll mostly find me working up a sweat and going for a run, but there are other days where I find myself just relaxing and enjoying some peace occasionally.

I tend to be a lonestar out in these parts, but if I were to have a partner, a meet and great is required. I need to make sure this town is big enough for the both of us!

My ideal home is somewhere I can be by my sheriff’s side and take voyages into this world together. To be able to run about and feel the wind through my fur. But then, afterwards, nothing beats just kicking back and relaxing, with some cuddles thrown in. And someone who can brush up my basic training skills, just to help strengthen that bond between sheriff and partner.
