Pop out the moonshine little Annie Keayang Moon Shine finally got her first Saturday night metro win, she’s been crying out for a while now and she’s finally gotten over the hump. She did it the hard way but shes got guts, a big will to win and is just airborne atm. Massive thank you to Beau Ferguson for trusting us with his steeds and to Angus and dad again just making it look easy 💪 Get up Annie, let’s go get another one.

Bella Bronski (Bella) just doing Bella type things with a gutsy win at Albion Park on Friday afternoon, ran the gate and still ran away at the finish and in a new PB of 1.54.8 she’s just a marvel to deal with the little issues she has and still go out and rip in. Big congratulations to owner Garry Parziani and thank you again to Pete for a great steer and thank you to dad for making all this a possibility by being the first in the car to head up and giving the horses every chance

Always remember they are only horses and not machines, give them a cuddle even when they don’t go the way you wanted because one day they will be gone, you will always have those winning photos on the wall but you won’t have those special moments with them and those are the ones that really count 🥹 it’s been a rough month for us losing 2 of our bestest friends in Monty and Bobby both retired and went to terrific homes but unfortunately they have now left us leaving a massive hole in our hearts. These guys were far from champions but always did their best. Most of all they gave us plenty of joy on and off the track and will be forever missed 😔

What a week it’s been for Hunk Of S***k (Hank) he’s gone up there for some confidence boosting runs and he’s absolutely relishing the experience with a big win on Wednesday night, followed by another win tonight both wins only by small margins but he’s getting the job done and gaining some very valuable experience along the way. Well last Sunday closed the curtain on a fine racing career for Gottashopearly (Donald) he was chasing back to back Armidale cup wins and in true Shop fashion he went down fighting running a brave second. He finished his career with a total of 183 starts with 28 wins and 36 placings and massed $200,073 in prize money, for us he had 61 starts for 12 wins 13 placings and just under $90,000 in prize money.

1x Narrabri Cup
1x Armidale Cup
1x Golden Guitar heat win at 10yo
3rd in Group 3 Echuca Cup behind Buster Brady

He raced in country cups all over country NSW and competed at a high level every time. He gave me my first Menangle metro winner as well as bringing up my 100th training win. He gave me so many great memories, took me all over the place, never let me down in fact he constantly punching above his weight and always had people looking over their shoulders. He did everything for me and made me who I am as a trainer, he carried this stable and has for a very long time. Shop leaves a huge hole but will never be forgotten and I’m so grateful he’s retired injury free and healthy as an ox. He will enjoy eating grass and never having to worry about busting his guts ever again, he can sleep in and be lazy all he wants now enjoy retirement old boy and thanks for the memories 💪

Rolamax (Maximus) the big truck gets the job done last night at Redcliffe. Well driven by Jordan Topping giving her a first time win for the barn and some more funds donated to the team teal campaign. The old fella has been in and out of our system for a little while now but always good to have him around and great to see him still winning races. Good job Maxi and well down to connections 🤙🏻
