Tiki loves to roll in the dirt every chance she gets so always has a lovely dirt brown colour to her 🤣

Happy birthday to Sinodah Wonder Woman ( aka Frizzie) who turned 1 year old yesterday. Sandra Hodges Winkelman Boris and Tiki made some lovely pups.

Happy birthday to her litter mates hopefully they are all as gorgeous and with the lovely temperament of our Frizzie.

Sorry we've been quiet but the pups are going wonderfully.
They are playing and exploring and just being cute.
They've been introduced to solid food and are now around the 3kg mark.

Tiki x Mannix pups are powering along all have cracked 2kg, they endured their first worming, finished ENS and are now entering play phase which is exciting.

Tiki is a great Mum especially given she has severe mastitis that has abscessed, she I being treated intensly and seems to be improving now. Note she never misses a chance for a dust / mud bath / roll so she is quite dirty in the photos 🤦‍♀️

Puppy spam 🥰 eyes are now open and they are up on their feet more. Unfortunately we are battling mastitis in Tiki 😭

These little cuties have opened their eyes 👀 and are staring to get up on all 4 legs 🥰

These little Tiki x Mannix puddins are all over a kilo and powering on.

Please don't judge lack of bedding Tiki just digs it up and the pups get lost in it. We have had to turn our a/c on as the pups were feeling the heat.

So we have our pups 😍 born yesterday 3 black girls, unfortunately a yellow girl was stillborn.

Tiki has settled in to being a very attentive mum.

This pregnant mumma dog LOVES a crate to nap in, she often just goes and hangs out in the crate 🥰. We are big advocates of the benefits of crate training here at Sinodah but note at this stage only the 6month old pup gets locked in a crate of a night time and the other 3 adult dogs sleep where they please in the house.

Puppies are due end of January. 😍

Not the greatest photos, but I was very proud of the girls who came with me to Tafe the past 2 days to allow the students to have real animals to interact with. They behaved very well and took it in their strides, which I knew they would.

Frizzie passed this test with flying colours, 5 months old and very happy and relaxed with all the new experiences and people. First hydrobath and blow dry and now smells amazing and soo clean.

Update on Tiki x Boris litter

The pups are now 14weeks old (these photos are mostly from 2 weeks ago but I've been slack and not uploaded them).

They are all going well and are all such stunning looking labradors with good temperaments, we are very proud 😍.

Love hearing that all the time spent with the pups up has been worthwhile. A great start is essential, but it is critical that the work continues to be put in to bring out the best in the pup.
