โVet Nurses day was established to raise awareness for the men and women who work alongside the veterinarians everyday to help heal, comfort and protect our pets.
โ Whether they're working in the field with large animals or carefully handling the smallest of pets, Vet Nurses are a vitally important part of the care for our pets.
โWhen your pet has to stay at the facility, the vet nurse is the one who makes sure their bandages are changed, they're fed and watered and your little darlings are getting a lot of love and attention so they aren't lonely during their stay.
โ Our Nurses work with the Vet during operations to make sure that everything goes smoothly. They are just as important to your pets welfare.

Today we went out with Dr Sam Webster to check out what he does with cattle day in day out.
Master in the field of large animals, Sam spends more of his time in our ute than in our clinic!
Hailing from the rolling Plains of Dubbo, and then onto uni in Wagga, Sam has spent a large portion of his life devoted to his family and his studies.
You may often see Sam with a black eye or two but don't be alarmed!! ๐ฌBattle wounds from vigorous season's of Rugby Union with the Quirindi Lions where he spends his time as a valuable back rower!
Owning two cavoodle doggos Minnie and Mickey between himself and his partner, Sam is no stranger to the small animal love either! ๐
