Casual Work Available
“Stablehand + General Maintenance”
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- cleaning yards and stables
- feeding & rugging horses
- feeding dogs
- making feeds
- general tidy of sheds eg. sweeping & de-webbing
- cleaning out hose bay drains
- mowing (ride on) & whipper snipping
- w**ding gardens
- hedging
- spot w**d spraying
- washing arena mirrors
- dragging arena
The successful applicant will:
- have his/her own ABN
- be open to working varying days, for short amounts of time (generally 1-4 hrs)
- be reliable & trustworthy & responsible
- have high attention to detail
- be able to work unsupervised, follow directions and also have initiative
- be confident handling performance horses, stallions and young horses
- have the skills required for basic property maintenance as listed above
