Wyatt Young's skills are multi faceted. He still holds the record as being the only person to win the Nutrien Classic Campdraft and Nutrien Classic Challenge in the same year. He won the Sydney Royal Easter Show Championship Campdraft when barely out of his teens and has a string of other successes, at an elite level, under his belt.

Safe to say, "He knows his stuff!"

The ABCRA Novice Horse Title went to Binnia Milan ridden by Wyatt Young.

Craig, Jenelle and Wyatt purchased Milan at Landmark as a 2 year old from Troy Palmer. She spent her early youth with Jenelle at Stock Horse Shows. Milan being the beautiful type she is, was successful in many led classes.

Wyatt steadily took Milan through the paces, ensuring to always do right by her. It certainly paid off, Wyatt and Milan have been a force to be reckoned with this year. Milan won the Sydney Royal Easter show, as well as the Open Campdraft at Toowoomba. At the finals this year she took out round 1 of the Novice Horse and won the aggregate. She then had to run off for the title and never skipped a beat scoring 88 points in the run off.

Milan’s sire Binnia Impressive Destiny has also won the Sydney Royal Easter Show, as well as ABCRA Novice and Open horse titles. Her breeding program will certainly be one to watch with 2 foals and a yearling on the ground. Hopefully another generation of title winners has hit the ground.

Wyatt’s favourite things about Milan are her consistency and desire, he is grateful to have her on his team. Breeder Troy Palmer said “Milan is one of the best mares going in the country, Wyatt has done a super job training her.”
