Welcome to Results Horsemanship! Where our aim is to help you achieve;
Relaxation, Engagement, Suppleness, Understanding, Listening, Timing and Soundness
Results Horsemanship is a business partnership created by Garry Matthews & Jen Partridge. Together they offer you a vast array of knowledge gained from many years of practical experience in the horse industry.
Garry’s background started out with him as an apprentice jockey at the age of 14, retiring in 2006 after a successful career riding at the elite level. He started working horses for other people during this time and commenced a breaking in business where he based his work on the principles taught by Ray Hunt, Tom Dorrance & Buck Brannaman. Over the years Garry has taught students throughout Australia & more recently conducted clinics in England & the USA. In 2017 he received a Legacy of Legends scholarship which saw him further his knowledge by travelling to America & learning from Hall of Fame Reined Cow Horse rider, Jon Roeser. He also had the opportunity to ride with Martin Black in Idaho, USA where he developed a better understanding of the neurochemistry of the horse and how this understanding can improve the training principles for your horse. Garry has a special talent for fixing horses with behavioural issues, such as bucking, rearing etc & can fix your float loading issues. He can see where the gaps are in your horse’s learning & the handlers/riders application & give instruction or practical assistance where necessary.
