A gold nugget worth up to $100,000 has been unearthed next to the historic Ballarat mine site.

Metal detectorist Luke Phillips picked up a weakish signal with his detector at an old miner's hole when he was out hunting for gold in the Ballarat bush in May.

I've had some upsetting news late this afternoon, the courier office rang to inform me that...their vehicle was in an accident up near Gympie or Gin Gin . (They told me Gympie and new owner Gin Gin so not really sure of location)
The driver has been taken to hospital, apparently the trailer has gone over embankment and ended up on it side..
They have stated all the animals are ok...have have been taken to vets in Rockhampton...
I'm so upset, poor Spike, it's stressful enough leaving for a new home...with this happening...
