If your pet is exhibiting a particular behaviour, has a lump or skin issue, has a problem in an area that is hard to see, has a problem with the eye, or your pet is very wiggly, try videotaping the issue to show the vet rather than taking a photo. A video can often show the problem more clearly than a single photo. And it can be easier to get the area in focus.

Kosey visited Central Veterinary Clinic & Hospital today for his snip, snip hooray. A very playful boy!

I look like I've just stepped off the plane, coming back from an orthopaedic workshop in Queensland. Quinny, in for a dental, gave the best cuddles for a day back at Central Veterinary Clinic & Hospital - Tarneit
I was looking through my videos and came across this one. Lucky... Lucky was incredibly lucky. She presented with unusual symptoms. It seemed she was bitten by a snake in multiple places, with necrotic bite wounds oozing black fluid and sloughing skin, severe muscle damage, liver damage and jaundice, and blood pooling under the skin due to delayed blood clotting times. It was a prolonged recovery and she needed an (oesophageal) feeding tube inserted for a period. Lucky was such a lovely girl. And has made a full recovery.
And we are so lucky to have such caring nurses, who continue to care even after they have gone home. Here is the video I sent to nurse Ash when she messaged to ask how Lucky was doing.
Reverse sneezing - a non-life threatening reflex. But if it is increasing in frequency and severity it warrants further investigation.
Zigy, in the video, has reverse sneezing that is occurring more frequently. Previous investigation under anaesthetic shows he has an elongated soft palate. He has frequent reverse sneezing, reflux, and sleeps with a toy in his mouth, all symptoms of Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Disease. He is scheduled to have soft palate shortening done in our clinic soon.

There's nothing more beautiful than a mother protective of her babies. When this little mumma was having trouble giving birth, there was no way she was leaving her babies. When we took her for an xray to see if there were anymore still inside, she picked up her babies by the scruff with her mouth and they all came along with her. She would not have it any other way!!! The xrays showed more inside. With a bit of medical intervention and privacy, she delivered all naturally. Motherly love.π₯°π₯°π₯°

Daisy's checking out our brand new clinic. But shhhh, don't tell the boss she may have christened it with some excited wee.
Ignore the fact the floor desperately needs a vacuum from the destructive habits of a puppy and appreciate the raw enthusiasm of a dog greeting its owner. Everytime. No matter if it was 5 minutes or 5 hours since we were last together. No animal could have as much enthusiasm as this dog!!! #daisythecockerspaniel
