The last few months have been super crazy relocating horses and the business all the way from Geraldton Western Australia! I look forward to offering my services from September 2024 at our new property.

Update on the ponies in work.

Flare (chestnut) returning to work and having her first rides back under saddle this week. Combined with a focus on groundwork, she is finding softness and bend by learning to move her shoulder and hindquarters forward and around.

Pippa (pinto) has commenced her mouthing and longreining. Happy with bridle and saddle and learning groundwork exercises well.

Rennie (buckskin) is longreining like a pro and learning to canter on lunge in the arena. First ride soon 🤞.

I will have spaces for short-term training and starting available from September!

Officially completed my EA Steward accreditation!

Thank you to Janet Reid for running the course in WA last year. I finalised my practical assessment with shadow stewarding at Tatura Park last weekend, thanks to Kevin Hitchins and Duncan Terry.

Round yard in action!

We have been very busy setting up the new property. Lots of projects have been happening behind the scenes.

Fully surfaced 17m round yard with Treadlite/sand mix. Fenced with rubber, Duncan Equine stallion rail, and Woodsheild posts. Suitable and safe for groundwork and riding.

Arena makeover is well under way, and more larger paddocks will be fenced this week. More pics to follow. Watch this space!

Booking will be available from late August/September for training spaces and lessons.

Zeus headed home today!

Thank you to his wonderful owner for trusting him with me to start under saddle. He has been a pleasure to work with over the last few weeks. I look forward to following his progress and seeing him out in the show ring in the future!

The girls giving Lulu 'Louisiana Rock' some love after completing her first preliminary test, scoring 68%. So much for her to look at and process but she was so brave and trusting. Can't wait to see her potential unlock!

Thank you everyone who has been in contact regarding ponies. We have found excellent homes for them. We have one more super special pony we would like to find a top home. If not he will stay with us and nanny our foals!

This little guy is a super star - off lead kids pony - about as unicorn status as they come. Coco is an 11hh* Shetland x Australian Pony who we bred and have owned his entire life (16/17 years). Jumps, swims, canters, attended shows, fun days, group riding and private lessons. To list his capabilities and experience would be endless. He has done it all.

No major vices, no separation anxiety, tie/clip/trim without issues. Health wise he has NO laminitis or EMS. He has required dental maintenance but is currently up to date. This has not impacted his ability to work, eat and live a happy life.

Looking for a home that will continue to enjoy him under saddle and look after him into his later years. Genuine experienced horsey home wanted. To approve home only. Gem has been apart of our school for over a year and has taken our school riders into the show ring. She has attended numerous clinics, dressage events, showhorse and ag shows. Plenty of experience with riding school holiday activities, group and private lessons. Enjoys a jump and has competed/capable of all novice dressage movements. Established canter transitions, leg yields, lengthen trot etc.

A pleasure to prep for competitions, easy to wash/clip/tie/plait, loads straight onto float, great with farrier. She is affectionate and well mannered on the ground and is a great as a companion pony. Gem is not marey towards other horses.

The ideal rider for Gem would be a junior or teen looking to step up to a more educated mount. Alternatively, she is happy to do pony rides, leadline and lunges well for intro lessons. She is not suited to nervous riders off lead.

No health conditions. No EMS and is straight forward to feed.

This mare has plenty of quality riding years ahead and has the sweetest nature.

Nathan has a gentle temperament suitable for intro level riders and those looking for a cuddly best friend. He is reliable at our riding school pony days on and off the lead. Easy to tie and be groomed by little and inexperienced children. Safe to ride ba****ck and take part in games, jumping and trail rides. He is good to ride by himself or in a group lessons. He is easy to float and loves swimming at the beach.

Nathan does occasionally pace in his trot but is easily corrected. He has an easy, small and established canter ideal for teaching riders to canter. Good on the lunge for beginners as well.

Paddocks by himself or with others. No separation anxiety and no behavioural vices. No EMS, cushings or laminitis.

Would make ideal 1st or 2nd pony, pony club mount or farm pony.

Holly was the lovely Cob mare who came to me last year for sales preparation. I think it is fair to say she has found a super home!

So wonderful to see them achieving their goals and not even a year into their partnership!

We were overwhelmed by the response and applications for our program this year, and we wanted to thank all the juniors who applied. It is so great to see how many talented young riders are coming through the various disciplines - what a future there is in equestrian sport!
