Fassifern Vaulting Fassifern Vaulting is based in Boonah, SEQ. Equestrian Vaulting is a sport that draws on elements from gymnastics, acrobatics, dance and horsemanship.

Equestrian Vaulting is a presentation of skill and grace performed on the top of a moving horse with elements that are judged based on technical and performance skills much like gymnastics, but with the added difficulty of having to do this on a horse that is moving in a circle and being controlled by a lunger on the ground. This sport builds co-ordination, balance, physical health, self-esteem an

d the ability to work in a team as the vaulter cannot perform without the horse and the lunger. Vaulting competition is done individually, in pairs, or in a team of 6 with up to 3 vaulters on the horse at any one time.

Fassifern Vaulting is gearing up to be the first event hosted at Teviot Park. The Australian National Vaulting Championships will be held at Teviot Park from 26 - 30 September 2024.

For those travelling with horses.
*On arrival you will have to present a Horse Health Declaration
see (Equestrian Qld - Members - Horse Health Declaration)
* Horses do not have to be sprayed for ticks to travel to Boonah
* For any horses that require Spraying to travel back to home location, on Sunday 29/9/2024 afternoon (Time to be advised) the OC will organise for an accredited sprayer to be on site. Cost is at owners expense.
* Please advise of date and time of expected arrival, so that OC can have someone to assist you with finding a yard and camping area
