Miss Maggie presented to Dr Amber with concerns regarding frequent intermittent urinary tract infections (UTI). Upon examination and further diagnostics, we discovered the culprit of all her troubles! ⬅️

Bladder stones are somewhat common in dogs, and struvite stones are the most common. Small and toy breeds tend to be affected more frequently and in some studies, up to 80% of dogs with struvite bladder stones were female.

Feeding a therapeutic diet which is restricted in protein, phosphorus and magnesium help dissolves struvite stones that are already present in the urine and prevent formation of further stones.

To our lovely community… we have sad news to share today.

If you look at the photo below you will see a very empty corner… our table and chairs seem to have gone for a walk on Thursday afternoon and have not returned.

This table and chairs was provided for our elderly clients to sit whilst their pet was treated inside, for somewhere to just sit and take a breather by all in the community.

So if anyone sees this cheeky table and chairs out on their travels today please send home. If only we had microchipped table and chairs, as we tell all our clients and their pets!

We will look to rehoming a new table and chairs as soon as we can… until then if you need to sit please come inside 🙂
