This morning, I had the privilege to say my last goodbye to a very important For Paws Sake family member, Bella, 😘 the Rottweiler cross.
Thank you, Cita, for giving me this opportunity to say my goodbyes to your precious girl Bella. I feel so honoured.
I had the pleasure of knowing Bella and her guardian for about 12 years.
Darling Bella had been fighting cancer for the past two years of her life which also included a couple of surgeries. Bella showed so much resilience and strength.
Earlier on when I first met Bella she soon became a very important part of my family and Bella’s guardian Cita, has become a very dear friend.
Sadly, 😢 Bella’s first few years of her life did not start well. Bella was abused by her previous owner that did not appreciate this great dog that Bella was. Bella ended up at the Animal Shelter.
Fortunate for Bella her luck changed, and she was adopted by a loving, kind, patience and wonderful family.
Thank you, Cita, Mitch, Alex and Grace, for giving Bella a second chance of an awesome life with you all. One that Bella truly deserved.
Bella could not have had a better life or a more loving family than she had.
Bella wasn’t just a dog to her guardians Cita, Mitch, Alex and Grace, but a very important and much-loved family member.
Bella was a broken dog that blossom into a beautiful flower because of the unconditional love, patience and support of her amazing family.
Bella and her guardian Cita in March/April 2013 attended the For Paws Sake Pet Dog Training Program Level 1 Basic Course and attended fun sessions and social walks throughout the years.
To begin with, Bella was a scared girl especially nervous and frightened around men that she did not know.
Throughout the years we slowly work on her fear to eventually she was accepting the present of men around her that she did not know.
Bella was not fond of getting her nails clipped at the groomers or at the Vets but allow me to clip her nails throughout the years without much fuss with lots of patience, treats, kisses 😘 and love ❤️ along the way.
Bella would come and stay with me when her family went away on holidays. I looked forward to those times that Bella stayed. This was like Bella’s second home, 🏡 and we enjoyed and loved every minute having Bella around.
In August/September 2020 Bella and her guardian Grace attended the For Paws Sake K9 Nose Work® Introduction Course. Bella had a nosey 🐽 good time with Grace.
Throughout the years Bella would look forward to coming over to For Paws Sake for a play dated with some of her many good canine friends that she loved like Harley the Poodle, 🐩 Chill the Whippet, Buddy the Golden Retriever, Sonny the Maltese and of cause my little Charlie the Pug and later on my baby girl Sapphire the Rottweiler.
Charlie and Bella would often play the wee wee game. Bella would wee first then Charlie would wee on top of Bella’s wee. This would go one for hours. It was so funny to watch.
Charlie, Sapphire and I absolutely adored, loved and respected Bella for the amazing dog she was.
It’s been wonderful to have had the opportunity to have had some one-on-one quality time this year with Bella and Cita. We have been going for regular walks, 🐾🐾👟👟 sniffing 🐽 adventures and exploring around the Wollondilly Shire area. Charlie, Sapphire and I will always treasure these lovely memories.
My heart 🩷 goes out to you Cita, Mitch, Alex and Grace.
Please know that I’m thinking of you all, and if you need to talk or share memories of Bella, know that I’m here for you and happy to share and listen.
Bella was a big part of your lives for such a long time, and I truly know how hard it will be living without your precious girl.
My heart just breaks 💔 for Bella, but I know that Bella is in a better place free from horrible cancer.
I hate cancer. 😡 It is a cruel, painful disease that drains the life out of a pet or a person and leaves everyone behind heartbroken. ❤️🩹
Bella, all the furry Angels 🐕🐩🐕🦺🦮 are celebrating and welcoming you to rainbow 🌈 bridge this afternoon. Please give my precious Tasha puppy 😘 and my loyal Tiny Todd 😘 all my love, 💘 woofs and licks from me.
Rest in peace beautiful loyal Bella. 😍
I will never forget you. 😢
