It certainly is a very sad day today with the passing of a very special For Paws Sake family member, Peanut the Pomeranian. 💔😭
Sadly, 😞 Peanut collapsed yesterday and was unable to stand up on his own or even get back on his feet.
Lindsay made such a unself decision to put Peanut to sleep this morning. Peanut was 17 years of age.
It certainly does not make it any less painful 💘 if the dog is in its senior years when it comes time for them to cross over to rainbow 🌈 bridge. Losing them at any age is heart 💔 breaking.
The longer you have them, the more attached and depended on you they become. You witness their vulnerable side.
Since Frankie’s 🫶 passing 😢 in November 2016, Lindsay took over full guardianship of Peanut and did a fantastic job looking after him. Frankie would have been so proud and grateful to Lindsay.
Lindsay’s mum Frankie adopted Peanut many years ago from a not so nice environment.
I had the pleasure of knowing Peanut, since January 2011. Not only was I Peanut's trainer, I also had the privilege of looking after Peanut throughout the years when he was unwell and was in care 🩺💉 at the Veterinary Hospital that I worked for.
This little red head had plenty of attitude and s***k in his younger years.
He had a strong disliking to push bike riders. 🚴
My nick name for Peanut was “Peanutty”. 🥜
Peanut and Frankie attended the For Paws Sake Pet Dog Training Program Level 1 Basic Course and the For Paws Sake Pet Dog Training Program Level 2 Intermediate Course, plus social walks and fun days throughout the years.
Peanut certainly kept both Frankie and Lindsay on their toes 🦶 and always made them smile. 🙂
My little Charlie enjoyed sharing a pram ride with Peanut the last time we caught up on the Friday 6th September 2024.
I am so very sorry for your loss Lindsay. 😢 I know that Peanut was your last link to your mum Frankie.
Peanut was a very special boy and will be greatly missed at For Paws Sake for his large than life attitude.
Please know that I'm thinking of you, and if you need to talk or share memories of Peanut I am here for you.
Rest in peace my sweet little Peanutty. 😘
I am sure that you will meet up with Frankie who will have open arms for you at the end of rainbow 🌈 bridge.

This sweet boy is called Red 🥰 who is a Boerboel breed of puppy.
Red is currently attending the For Paws Sake Senior Puppy Training Program with his guardian Paul. 🙂
The Boerboel is a South African breed of dog of a mastiff type.
At first glance, when they are fully grown, you might think the large, intimidating Boerboel would make an excellent guard dog, and you’d be correct. However, this breed is equally known for being loving, calm, and family-friendly, especially towards human children.
South African farmers first bred these protectors to defend their homesteads from hyenas, lions, and all manner of deadly wildlife.
As a bonus, the Boerboel also offered invaluable companionship.
The Boerboel have a short, dense, smooth coat, strong bone structure and well-developed muscles.
The Boerboel coat colours come in black, brindle, fawn, piebald, cream, mahogany, red, brown and white like Red’s coat colour
When fully grown they can typically stand 24-27 inches tall and weighing between 49 – 78kgs.
Red already has huge paws 🐾 at 16 weeks of age.

This morning, I had the privilege to say my last goodbye to a very important For Paws Sake family member, Bella, 😘 the Rottweiler cross.
Thank you, Cita, for giving me this opportunity to say my goodbyes to your precious girl Bella. I feel so honoured.
I had the pleasure of knowing Bella and her guardian for about 12 years.
Darling Bella had been fighting cancer for the past two years of her life which also included a couple of surgeries. Bella showed so much resilience and strength.
Earlier on when I first met Bella she soon became a very important part of my family and Bella’s guardian Cita, has become a very dear friend.
Sadly, 😢 Bella’s first few years of her life did not start well. Bella was abused by her previous owner that did not appreciate this great dog that Bella was. Bella ended up at the Animal Shelter.
Fortunate for Bella her luck changed, and she was adopted by a loving, kind, patience and wonderful family.
Thank you, Cita, Mitch, Alex and Grace, for giving Bella a second chance of an awesome life with you all. One that Bella truly deserved.
Bella could not have had a better life or a more loving family than she had.
Bella wasn’t just a dog to her guardians Cita, Mitch, Alex and Grace, but a very important and much-loved family member.
Bella was a broken dog that blossom into a beautiful flower because of the unconditional love, patience and support of her amazing family.
Bella and her guardian Cita in March/April 2013 attended the For Paws Sake Pet Dog Training Program Level 1 Basic Course and attended fun sessions and social walks throughout the years.
To begin with, Bella was a scared girl especially nervous and frightened around men that she did not know.
Throughout the years we slowly work on her fear to eventually she was accepting the present of men around her that she did not know.
Bella was not fond of getting her nails clipped at the groomers or at the Vets but allow me to clip her nails throughout the years without much fuss with lots of patience, treats, kisses 😘 and love ❤️ along the way.
Bella would come and stay with me when her family went away on holidays. I looked forward to those times that Bella stayed. This was like Bella’s second home, 🏡 and we enjoyed and loved every minute having Bella around.
In August/September 2020 Bella and her guardian Grace attended the For Paws Sake K9 Nose Work® Introduction Course. Bella had a nosey 🐽 good time with Grace.
Throughout the years Bella would look forward to coming over to For Paws Sake for a play dated with some of her many good canine friends that she loved like Harley the Poodle, 🐩 Chill the Whippet, Buddy the Golden Retriever, Sonny the Maltese and of cause my little Charlie the Pug and later on my baby girl Sapphire the Rottweiler.
Charlie and Bella would often play the wee wee game. Bella would wee first then Charlie would wee on top of Bella’s wee. This would go one for hours. It was so funny to watch.
Charlie, Sapphire and I absolutely adored, loved and respected Bella for the amazing dog she was.
It’s been wonderful to have had the opportunity to have had some one-on-one quality time this year with Bella and Cita. We have been going for regular walks, 🐾🐾👟👟 sniffing 🐽 adventures and exploring around the Wollondilly Shire area. Charlie, Sapphire and I will always treasure these lovely memories.
My heart 🩷 goes out to you Cita, Mitch, Alex and Grace.
Please know that I’m thinking of you all, and if you need to talk or share memories of Bella, know that I’m here for you and happy to share and listen.
Bella was a big part of your lives for such a long time, and I truly know how hard it will be living without your precious girl.
My heart just breaks 💔 for Bella, but I know that Bella is in a better place free from horrible cancer.
I hate cancer. 😡 It is a cruel, painful disease that drains the life out of a pet or a person and leaves everyone behind heartbroken. ❤️‍🩹
Bella, all the furry Angels 🐕🐩🐕‍🦺🦮 are celebrating and welcoming you to rainbow 🌈 bridge this afternoon. Please give my precious Tasha puppy 😘 and my loyal Tiny Todd 😘 all my love, 💘 woofs and licks from me.
Rest in peace beautiful loyal Bella. 😍
I will never forget you. 😢

Hooray 🥳 and congratulations 👏 to Mabel 🎓 the English Cocker Spaniel, Frankie 🎓 the French Bulldog, Zigi 🎓 the American Staffordshire Terrier and Luka 🎓 the Border Collie and their amazing guardians. 🤩
I have certainly noticed the different in behaviour from when Mabel, Frankie, Zigi and Luka first started attending the For Paws Sake Senior Puppy Training Program.

What a woofing good effort everyone! 🤩
We finished off the Tuesday For Paws Sake Baby Puppy Preschool Program graduation lesson with an off-lead puppy play session.
I bet that all the puppies will sleep well tonight.
Enjoy the cuteness overload with the photos that I have captured for lesson 3 and 4 of the Tuesday For Paws Sake Baby Puppy Preschool Program class.

Meet sweet little Bee. 🥰 Bee 🐝 is a Miniature Poodle 🐩 who is attending the Tuesday For Paws Sake Baby Puppy Preschool Program with her lovely guardians Lisa and Jim.
Yesterday during lesson 3, we set up a sensory equipment activity to give all the puppies a chance of being introduce to new things and activate the puppies five senses of smell, sound, touch, sight and taste.
Bee is certainly a fan of the skateboard and displayed her fearless spirit.
For puppies to grow into confident adult dogs they need early introduction to a range of experiences that they may encounter in life.
Giving young puppies the opportunity to explore things in a safe environment, will better their chances of coping with future life experiences.
The sensory equipment activity gave the puppies the opportunity of seeing movement, sniffing of new smells, feeling of different textures, and listening to unusual sounds.

This gorgeous young fellow is Oscar, 😍 the Australian Shepherd. Oscar is currently attending the For Paws Sake Baby Puppy Preschool Program with his guardian Kassee. 😀
The Australian Shepherd is a breed of herding dog from the United States.
The name of the breed is technically a misnomer, as it was developed in California in the 19th century.
The Australian Shepherd temperament is energetic, loyal, sociable, affectionate, alert, and devoted. They are generally eager to please and easy to train.
Due to their high activity levels, Australian Shepherd require ample exercise and thrive in various activities such as agility, obedience, and herding. Because of their high intelligence and intensity, they are not recommended for first-time or novice dog owners.
When fully grown, males can weigh between 23 – 29kg and females between 14 – 20kg.
They have a double coat that is medium in length and can be either straight or wavy.
Their coat comes in various colours including black and red, often with white markings and copper points. Red merle, red tricolour, black tricolour and blue merle.
Oscar’s coat colour is a red merle and he has a blue eye and a green eye.

I was in total shock when Lindsay let me know the extremely sad ☹️and unexpected news about little sweet Tazzy collapsed on Thursday morning 18th July 2024.
Sadly, Tazzy crossed over to rainbow 🌈 bridge. 😭
I certainly was not prepared for this heartbreaking 💔 news.
I had the pleasure of knowing Tazzy, Razmataz, his nickname, and his devoted and loyal guardian Lindsay, since January 2011, when Tazzy was just a young cheeky boy.
Tazzy was a ball of fluff and full of life and energy.
Tazzy and Lindsay attending the For Paws Sake Pet Dog Training Program Level 1 Basic Course and the For Paws Sake Pet Dog Training Program Level 2 Intermediate Course at For Paws Sake, plus social walks and fun days throughout the years.
Tazzy was the reason why I think that Lindsay and her mum Frankie, got hooked on the Pomeranian breed of dog.
Tazzy was Lindsay’s first special Pomeranian.
Tazzy gave Lindsay 14 years of love, happiness and laughter and for me a real appreciation of the Pomeranian breed of dog.
Tazzy was so fortunate to have such a wonderful, caring, supportive and loving guardian. I must say that Tazzy had 14 years of the best life a dog could ever have with Lindsay.
My thoughts are with you Lindsay. I know how much your heart in breaking 💔 right now.
Sending you much love 💗 and hugs.
Rest in peace Tazzy, Razmataz. 😘 I am going to miss your cute little face. 😢
