ππ£ Easter 2023 π£π
It was a very busy Easter weekend for our team, and we are so grateful to everyone who trusted us with their beautiful #furbabiesπΎ
We performed multiple emergency surgical procedures, treated a number of intensive medical emergencies and saw a whole range of pets with other issues from ear and skin infections, wounds, ear and eye problems, tummy troubles and of course, accidental chocolate and hot cross bun ingestions.
HUGE thanks to our amazing team who worked so tirelessly across the weekend, and also yesterday, which was very busy with many spillover emergencies from the long weekend. We are incredibly proud to be able to stay open over the holidays to provide veterinary care to the pets in our community, and to help relieve pressure on the emergency centres. It wouldnβt be possible without our dedicated team and the #petparents that trust us with their beloved pets π
We hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend π

β οΈ Paralysis Tick Warning β οΈ
A message from Dr Kat and the team at the clinic - the paralysis ticks are out in force at the moment.
We are seeing old pets, young pets, indoor pets, outdoor pets - any pet that goes outdoors, even just for some sun, is at risk. Check your petβs prevention is up to date and most importantly, check your pets every single day π
βοΈ BVSc Class of 1970 Reunion βοΈ
Yesterday, Dr David and family had the absolute pleasure of hosting his 1970 Vet School alumni for their 50 year (plus 2, thanks COVID!) Reunion Brunchπ₯
What an amazing day, and incredible chance to celebrate with this wonderful group of friends, who have not only served as veterinarians for over 50 years, but played such an instrumental role in shaping our profession.
The celebration was filled with so much fun and laughter, and, in a fitting tribute to Dr David, opera singers, in the form of our good friend Roger Davy and his Suprise by Disguise team, including the incomparable Meg Kiddle βοΈ Their performances of family favourites like Libiamo, Nessun dorma, and the Phantom of the Opera were just outstanding π€© and we also loved some of the other classics they performed for the group, including Sweet Caroline and even an Elvis song πΆ
The champagne and well wishes were flowing, and we want to take this opportunity to congratulate Dr David and his class mates, and thank them for their 50 (2) years of hard work and dedication π₯ Happy 50 years, Class of 1970!
There are always happy dances in clinic when our critical patients start eating and drinking on their own π Ginger was so happy to have her feeding tube removed and loved the selection of food our beautiful nurses served up π»
