"Our breeding programme has been about breeding trouble-free cows to milk in a big herd – that we would be proud to milk and to keep,” Lloyd said. The Alison and Friends sale will include more than 100 members of the Alison family – the most dominant maternal line at Willette today. One of those will be the 2015 second-placed five-year-old at International Dairy Week, Willette Wyn Alison EX91-1E, who was also this year’s Reserve All-Australian five-year-old. Five of her VG two-year-old daughters will also sell. Notably, this is the first time the Alison family will be marketed at auction. And rarely, in today’s landscape, does anyone have the chance to buy into bloodlines that have not already been shared. Other families that will be represented include: Lila, Kewpie, Klaske, Jostle (Judge’s family), Gail (Rudolph’s family) and Hay (Blackstar’s family).
